I like the result I get from these lenses. I wouldn't say that these are the ones I would get if I were taking professional images, but they really increase how close I can get to items. The case they come in is nice and protects them well. Stacking them creates some great options as well. This is a great set of macro lenses to add onto an existing lens.

For the price, these filters are fine. They work ok and on principle, they do magnify the object allowing to capture more detail. That said, the picture quality isnt perfect. There is a big of fidelity loss esp at the edges of the object. Bokeh isnt that great either. So it is ok if you just want to use macro on specific objects but you are better off with high quality zoom lenses if you want high quality macro photos.

To begin, I am not a professional photographer. But, I do want to dabble in macro photography and this is an affordable way to begin without having to pay for expensive macro lenses. I would not call these filters but rather, they are close up lenses. There are four lenses in this set +1, +2, +4, and +10. These are nicely made as they have a metal frame. They easily screwed onto my Canon lens. Of course, there was an immediate difference as things became close up. These were things that I had difficulty focusing on prior to receiving these lenses. The sellers pictures do give you a good idea as to what to expect when using these. Each lens is marked on the rim, so you know the magnification. They come in a nice carrying pouch, but the lenses themselves are in small plastic bags. Given that I will not use them everyday, that is okay with me but for someone who will use these a lot, you might want to find a set of sleeves to use before putting them in the carry pouch. I was able to still use my autofocus with these lenses but it is my understanding that sometimes manual focus works better. It is a factor of what camera you are mounting these on. These do not give the exact quality of a true macro lens but these are an affordable solution for those who do not want to pay that kind of money. This is a really nice set for those who want to get into macro photography.

I love to play around with close-up photography. I have some very nice lenses and macro accessories, including fairly expensive close-up lenses. When I saw this set listed for around $16, I felt I had an obligation to give it a quick review. Well, for very inexpensive acrylic (not glass) lenses, these are not bad and, I feel, certainly worth the $16 asking price. The Plus 4 and Plus 2 lenses are going to be my "go to" lenses for snapshots around the garden and when I don't feel the need for more "professional" gear. The Plus 10 lens is fine when you can get your subject centered and you have a steady hand. It doe's "fall off" a bit at the edges and I think I see some chromatic aberration than can be easily corrected with a good photo editing program. The Plus 1 lens is fine, but I'm not sure how useful it will be compared to the other three. The fly in one of the photos is between 7 and 10 mm. I kind of missed the ideal focus, but at least a look at the wings will show you the kind of detail you can expect. No sharpening has been added to any of the photos. Bottom line: if you are on a budget, or just getting your feet wet in close-up photography, this is a good starter set and the price is right. Be careful with the lenses, acrylic can scratch easily (the price you pay for light weight and inexpensive).
