I got these to touch up some things that water based paint wasnt working kn. This worked great! The oil base makes the paint thicker and last longer. Im happy with these pens!

It's like having wall paint or tube paint in a pen. We got the orange ones, and the color is vibrant and easy to applymuch simpler than using a tube, digging up a brush, and dealing with the cleanup process. Just shake, open, and paint. It was dry in a minute or so and it didn't drip. I did most of my touch-ups using just the first pen, so it's nice knowing I have 5 others ready to go when the time arrives.

Love the metallic silver. It is great to label, or number, on plastic chairs, tables, furniture, etc.

Despite claiming a low smell and absence of xylene and toluene, these paint pens still have an extreme chemical scent that makes them unsuitable for use by children. I also recommend using them in a well ventilated area. Besides that, the coverage of these paint pens is great, requiring far fewer passes than water based acrylic paint pens to create a fully opaque layer. They are indeed waterproof, but as my project was not meant to be outside in the sun, I cannot speak for their UV resistance. The markers are individually shrink wrapped within their greater packaging, which was quite the boon when I was first opening them. One of the gold pens had started to leak from under its cap inside the plastic wrap. Upon inspecting it, the felt tip was twice the length of the other pens, causing it to be depressed by the closed cap. Depressing the nib presses down on a spring-loaded valve inside, allowing the paint to flow into the nib, so this pen had been inadvertently activated by its manufacturing defect. Besides that little hiccup, nothing was damaged, and the pens function beautifully.

This set of 6 (3 gold and 3 silver) paint markers is not waterproof or quick drying. if you plan to use these on anything that will get wet, seal the item when the markers dry. they are nice and have a nice shine to them. 2 of them were completely empty upon opening. i took the tips out of the 2 and there was no sign of any kind of liquid ever being inside and there was nothing in the box to indicate they had leaked during transit. regardless, these are a nice set. I would not pay this price again, knowing what i know now, if they were cheaper, yes, i would order again. but at the price it is now, absolutely not. their description is not accurate and quality control is terrible, considering i was sent 2 empty markers.
