I had high hopes for these dusters, and on some surfaces and types of dirt it worked really well. In particular on dark surfaces it looked like it worked very well, while on white surfaces, it seemed to leave behind some little black bits of dust/lint that pilled up. Maybe there was too much dust on the duster, but if that's the case it would me I needed to carry a bucket around to rise it after each swipe. As I said before, they work very good on dark surfaces, but left a little to be desired on white surfaces. I live in a very dust old house and it seems like I'm forever dusting. These will indeed help with that.

These are 6 handheld squishy semicircles. Get them damp and they are great cleaning sponges. Unlike the melamine type magical sponges, these won't scrape off a layer of anything but dirt. Soft enough to clean windows, tough enough to clean sliding door and window tracks. They will stain a little depending on what you clean or if you use anything more than water, but they still work fine, the discoloration does not transfer. We even used one on the windshield, it took away haze and helped wipe condensation away without streaks. The grooves and curves help you hold on while you dig in to dirty areas. A pack of 6 means plenty to go around! Easy to use and great value.

I love these sponges I just received. They came soft and pliable and fit nicely in my hand. The first thing I used it on was a throw that I cover an accent chair with to protect it from my cats. I have 3 cats and 1 is long haired. When I finished cleaning/brushing the chair I had a huge clump of hair that I collected. It looks like new again. I am amazed at how well and easy it works on pet hair. I also tried it on plantation shutters and it also worked great and made the job so much quicker and easier. What I do when rinsing off hair and dust from the sponges is use the hose outside so it doesnt clog my pipes.

First, I have to say "they work!" Upon opening, I added a bit of moisture to one and immediately started out on my most hateful of chores - my wooden blinds! In our climate, the dust builds up quickly and its extremely hard to keep the blinds clean on a constant basis. This "sponge" immediately removed the dust and, though work is "involved" it was more effective than paper towels with cleaning solution, to actually remove the standing dust and didn't involve adding any chemicals to do so. Next I cleaned the glass on the front of the microwave and was pretty surprised to see how easily it took off the multitude little fingerprints!. I also tried getting marks off of some of the countertop, and that too worked, without adding a rag or paper towel to wipe it down after the fact. From what I can see and feel, these sponges are sort of like an old fashioned rubber eraser they gave you in elementary school, or in an arts and crafts class way back when. They seem to work on the same level as one of these "magic sponges" but I don't see the same abrasion on painted surfaces - but I haven't tried it yet. I think the package is reasonably priced and its worth checking it out, and seeing how it works for you. I'd buy it again. Thanks!

I have always been curious about these sponge dusters so I had to order this 6 pack. The texture of the sponges is far more solid than I expected them to be. They absorb water quickly. The sponges are quite dense so I had to use both hands to remove water from them. I only squeezed the water out (no wringing). I tried the sponge on the top of my refrigerator since I do not clean up there everyday. The sponge grabbed & held a lot of dust. I then rinsed the sponge under the tap & it removed all of the dust. I didn't have any dust balls from the sponge being smeared around on the top of the refrigerator like I do when I use cleaning cloths. I also wiped down my the glass in my storm door. It did a good job of removing the fingerprints, nose prints, paw prints, dust & pollen on both the inside & outside of the door. I did have to rinse the duster a couple of times when I did the outside because we've had a heavy pollen season. The sponge did not leave streaks. This saved a lot of paper towels which saves me money!
