This is a great button pack because it has an assortment of neutral colored sized buttons. They're plastic and great for crafting. I don't think I would use them for clothing because they will break with repeated use, but they are great to add to my gnome projects.

They range from 1-1/4 inch across down to very, very tiny. (You get very few of the larger sized buttons. 1 inch or smaller is the size of most of the buttons, which shirt sized buttons making up the bulk of this assortment.) The problem is that you don't get the promised quantity of buttons. You get 80% of what was promised. (Yes, I counted the buttons. And I counted the buttons twice to make sure.) The buttons are mostly matte finish or a satin finish. They come in various shades of beige/tan and gray. Some are 4 hole and some are 2 hole. If you need a wide variety of buttons for an alteration shop, then this is an affordable way to get a lot of neutral colors. If you need sets of buttons that match each other, then this is probably not the selection that you need, as there is a wide variety of button styles included and it would be hard to find a matching set in the size and style that you need. This set is for when you need 1 pants button or some random button that is the right size and general color needed. I did not find any broken buttons in the lot while counting the buttons (twice!). My problem with rating this product is that you get a lot of buttons in the colors promised. The value is pretty good, as buying buttons individually would be much more expensive. But on the other hand, I really hate it when companies greatly exaggerate the amount that you receive, as they assume that you won't notice. (Plus, it is against USA consumer protection laws.) So I will give this product a neutral 3 stars. Hopefully, the seller will correct the information to reflect the amount of buttons that you actually receive.
