This is some good stuff! My cats tree needed recovering on the scratching post, so I used this. There was plenty of material to cover it with some left over. It seems to be staying in place really well so far and is taking my cats beatings. It was easy to cut once I had a good, sharp pair of scissors! Be sure to remove all of the old material, so it has a smooth, clean surface to stick to. The adhesive seems to be pretty good, there are no ripples or signs of it coming off anywhere and my two cats scratch it quite often. I did add just a few staples along the very edge for added secureness. Ill definitely be using this again when it comes time to recover the post again!

This has a slight bit of padding. So the cats enjoy sitting on it. Adhesive is pretty good. We applied it to a cat pole that had wooden shelves because cats had trouble griping the wood. It works great on the flat part a little iffy going around the edges but overall would recommend.

The last time my daughter was out of town we took care of her cats. They decided the side of the couch was the ONLY place to sharpen their claws. This time when she went out of town we cut a piece of this mat to fit the end of the couch. We were a little concerned about the adhesive not letting go as we didn't plan on leaving this on permanently, we secured it with double sided removable adhesive tape, which worked ok for the few days the furry demons were here. The mat material worked well and protected the end of the couch from a number of attacks. I plan on making a couple of plywood sides to fit the ends of the couch and permanently attach this mat to it so we can slide it into place as needed.

I recently got a 10 month old kitty and he likes to scratch everything he can get his paws on, especially my speakers. I'm hoping this product will deter him from clawing and climbing my speakers until I can get him a cat tree. At first I thought this product was easy to use, but the more I used it, the worse the adhesive seal peeled back and kept shredding into small pieces. Edit: I left this stuff on my speakers for over 8 hours, but the first time my cat clawed at it, he immediately ripped it off. This product might be good and useful for some people and their cat's, but I'm not crazy about it.

I got this to refurbish my cat's cat tree. Seems easy to apply, but I am torn about whether I want to redo the hemp rope on my cat tree with this. Seems really nice, but it is very thin and my cats destroyed the hemp rope so... I think it will be fine, but like I said, very thin and my cat's tend to destroy the usual carpet and rope cat trees. I will probably use it as I have nothing to lose. I like the cut lines on the bag of the carpet so I can cut to fit for the posts. Worth a try. It will probably last at least as long as the standard carpet cat trees.
