I have a protective Chihuahua that is a rescue. We live by a nature trail which has every age and mode of transportation passing by. We have a fence but he will run and bark the entire length. I watched how to correctly use this. I ordered others that were too thick and too short. If you have a small dog this is the one. My dog will let me put it on before we go into the yard and he stays by my side. We walked around with it & some treats during training. It is a miracle. I no longer have to hold the leash. We put it on and he no longer takes off after the passersby. I will update this. I bought several types , the over the nose gentle lead, the vest type. This is a leash that gives you gentle control. Not a heavy rope ,harness or head gear. Perfect for small dogs with big passion. Love that the slide allows me to have the head loop to tight size for easy on and snug enough without harming my little guy. Even a fixed Chihuahua has the fight of a lion. He is teachable and coachable. Be patient with the right tool a rescue is worth his weight in gold This one works for us. Try it.

Thin and perfect length

I have 2 40ish pound dogs and although these are thin leashes, they are perfect for my dogs. I love that they are 6 feet and have bought 2 already. Slip leads are so convenient as I don't have to find their collars to take them for a walk. I highly recommend this leash.

great length

Great length and pretty sturdy. It is definitely for small dogs, maybe medium. I would not recommend it for larger and stronger dogs because it is too small of a diameter. I thought it was great quality but I work with lots of bigger dogs so I actually traded this with someone for their thicker lead. They were really happy to get this one to use with all their small dogs. Chew proof, probably not if your dog has teeth but I didn't test that. I think it's probably sturdy enough to use with big dogs but the issue is that because it is thin, it's going to cut into your hand a lot if they pull hard.
