This floss does a good job of cleaning between teeth, but is difficult to work in between tight teeth. It does mark where to cut the floss, which is nice if that is exactly the length you want. You have to pull kind of hard to cut it, compared to similar products. This floss does not slide smoothly between teeth that are tight together, you really have to work it in. While working it in, it often separates into multiple strands. It doesn't break, but it separates like a rope might separate into strands. It does do a really nice job of cleaning, removing lots of plague. However, the lack of a smooth glide, separating into strands, and relative difficulty in cutting the floss make it difficult to really recommend this product.

As stated on this page, the product has sections that are blue and stiff and you're supposed to cut midway through those sections to get your piece of floss. The floss looked normal until after I used it, then it looked fluffy so I guess it doesn't get fluffy until it gets wet? Maybe I should wet the piece first. At any rate, it seemed to work well enough and I like that it's thicker than traditional floss but not so thick that it causes a problem with flossing in tight spaces. I have crowns, but I don't need to poke the floss between them to floss. This product is probably most convenient for those who have braces and need to thread the floss between. For anyone else, it's not very convenient to have to use predetermined lengths of floss.

The floss is made to let you know when you "cut" it. There's a blue section that is firmer and thicker which is perfect if you need to get the floss in between traditional wire braces. The white section is still thicker than regular floss. I was worried it would still be too bulky but it worked really well to get my teeth clean. I think the price point is high but my hygienist will be pleased if I can keep this up. Here's the kicker: Don't try to use less than the full length of each pre-determined section. It seems really long, but the material of the floss will start to flatten out and spread out if you reuse a specific section too often (like more than twice).

I used to dread flossing because it was just so time-consuming and inconvenient, but now it's a breeze with these pre-cut strands. The floss is so fluffy and gets into all the tight spaces between my teeth, braces, and implants, giving me a thorough clean that I can really feel.

Getting 50 individual threaders in each package is a great value.
