The spring came out very easily. I would buy again but glue the spring to the clippers. But still able to move freely.

I didnt pay attention to the size and assumed they were large nail clippers, since they were sold as dog clippers. I probably should have. They are medium sized ones, at best. I can still trim my large dog's nails (Doberman) but his nails are not overgrown. Theyd be too small to trim long, overgrown large breed dogs nails. However, they can trim and maintain cared for large breed dogs. I consider them too large for a cat. Beyond that, they are solid clippers. They are lightweight so pushing them will not go well. I was surprised that each set of clippers in the box is a different color scheme. I put them beside my normal large type clippers for a size comparison.

These things are the worst. They are tiny. I'd consider them cat nail trimmers, but they barely work for that even. I work as a vet assistant gave these 0ut to 9ther assistants and techs. No one uses them they are so awful. They bend even cutting small dog nails making it so they don't cut at all and can't even cut clean on cat nails.

I used these on my cats nails. They work fine. I used them on my medium size dogs too. They worked fine. They feel sturdy. The only thing that bugs me is that the lock piece keeps flipping over to lock it between cutting nails. Other than that, they work well for me. I like that I have back up clippers, because I seem to lose them easily. For a little over two bucks each, it's a good deal.
