Definitely an excellent replacement battery.

I was extremely hopeful when I ordered these AAA cells; however, my extensive testing proved these were a HUGE RIPOFF and there is NO EXCUSE for such OUTRIGHT DESEPTION! These batteries are advertised as 1200 mWh High Capacity NOT EVEN CLOSE!! Ive tested these batteries MANY times on three different testers ALL results were within the margin of reasonable deviation. These cells are rated at 1200 mWh which converts to 800 mAh (which is the unit my testers registered). ALL cells were fully charged within seconds before going on the load testers. The BEST result was 333.79 mAh & the WORST was 253.34 mAh Thats 41.7% and 31.6% of stated capacity, with most of the rest of the batteries coming in between 34% to 38% of stated capacity. The inclusion of the USB C charging port is what attracted me to these. And while that is a nice feature it doesnt make up for poor capacity. These cells do allow my headlamp to burn bright until they dont! Just drop dead with no warning what so ever only lasting about 1/3 that of alkaline cells. Dont waste your money on these Chinese rip-offs wait for the MAJOR companies to produce cells of stated capacity. Im just guessing but thats probably why they arent in the market currently manufacturing technology isn't mature enough to warrant production. Stick with Ni-MH for now. OBVIOUSLY they didn't go to the effort, expense of purchasing load testers and spending the many days of time necessary to obtain empirical data. Id definitely return these, but return window closed before testing completed. UPDATE !!! I held off on posting this review because the seller (FUQI Electronic Direct) reached out to me after reading my 1 star review of their MXPOW AA cells which I also purchased here on ZeeBooth. Best regards, MXPOW I was pleasantly surprised they would actually take time to respond to my very negative review and responded immediately with hope of getting a satisfactory resolution. I stated there were two options: either provide me with cells of stated capacity (in case mine were defective/manufactured incorrectly) or in the alternative, return my money for the purchase. I guess there was a third option I hadnt considered: Express platitudes and DO NOTHING to resolve the issue as its been 6 days with no further response. I even included my cell phone # to help expedite the matter. IF (<<< big if) something changes I will update my two reviews only to disclose how they addressed the matter, not to alter my review as the data speaks volumes.

These batteries are great. I was very glad to see them use a USB-C connector. I have seen some that used micro-USB ports but never USB-C and they didn't include an octopus cable allowing you to charge multiple at one time. Another innovative feature is that these batteries include an indicator light that shows you the charging status of the light. If its flashing it is charging and if solid, it is fully charged. With so many devices that use USB-C for power these days, you should never be too far away from a handy charger for these batteries and that makes all the difference in the world. In my real-world testing, they appear to work very well in several high-power AA LED lights. I haven't yet used them enough to determine how long they last in different devices but I will update if they fall short of expectations. So far I have am very happy with these and highly recommend them for anyone who might need to recharge on the go.

First off, let's get the basics out of the way. These batteries are of the proper size to fit into what you'd expect a AAA battery to fit into. The charge lights are easy to understand (flashing=charging, solid green=done). They do indeed charge back up to full capacity with about an hour charge time when drained fully. The split charge cable is a life-saver. I couldn't imaging having to keep enough cables handy to charge a bunch of these at once. That said, I did some testing as well. I'll start by saying that I'm no battery expert, however, I was able to test these in an informal way and the conclusions were surprising to me. I have a pen light that takes two AAA cells and uses an incandescent bulb which is nice because it's purely resistive. I didn't mind sacrificing a couple of alkaline cells that I had lying around (about a year of shelf life on them). So, we have a comparison. I topped off all of the lithium cells before testing to make sure they got a fair shot. I checked both for brightness as well as run-time. Here are my results: MXBatt AAA Rechargeable Batteries Runtime = 53 minutes until light went out completely Brightness = Fairly bright for 15 minutes, then dimmed to about half brightness and tapering down afterwards. Members AAA Mark Alkaline Batteries Runtime = 159 minutes until light went out completely Brightness = Brighter than when on lithium for at least an hour and a half, then dimmed to about half brightness and tapering down afterwards. Honestly, I didn't expect the alkaline batteries to provide more than double the runtime and brightness. I was expecting a close race. You could say though that those alkalines are now dead forever, but the lithiums will still have several charges left in them. These definitely have their purpose, but I have to admit that I expected more.
