The construction of the notebook is adequate. Unfortunately, ZeeBooth bent the copy I got during delivery, so it's a bit difficult to make bold claims of sturdiness given how the product is bent with noticeable creases on the hardcover. On a better day and with consistently thoughtful handling of it, however, I'd say that it should hold up fine to the normal wear-and-tear. The back pocket is using flimsier paper than what I've seen in some other costlier versions. Furthermore, even though it claims the use of 100 GSM paper, these sheets feel thinner than others, to the extent that I can see the lines on the next page underneath. I would definitely keep my bolder gel pens away from this one. In fact, I think a fine ballpoint or a 0.5-0.7mm HB pencil are the ONLY things I will use on this one. One thing I noticed on my copy is the occasional difficulty in flipping the front and back covers as when opening or closing the notebook. There is something in the openings of the covers where the double spiral binding loops through that just makes it occasionally gets stuck. I find that I had to wiggle it a little to give it the clearance it needs. As for the inside, it is minimal with no page numbering or any labeling other than the guide rules. The paper color is of a brighter ivory which is good on the eyes. The sheets are visibly perforated, so if ever I need to share a note, I have a fair chance to tear off a nice straight sheet. Finally, the relatively attractive price places this notebook at a good value despite its various shortcomings.

As a writer and journal-keeper, I go through notebooks quickly and am always on the search for the perfect one that meets my needs and preferences. This one's cover and matching pink spiral are cute, but the paper is of a lighter weight and quality than a similar 100 GSM spiral journal and the paper doesn't slide as easily over the hinges. It's certainly an acceptable journal, but were I to choose from the many similar options, I'd choose another based on overall feel and my tastes.

I was looking for a few notebooks to replace the now grossly overpriced Red/Black notebooks. This one absolutely fit the bill. The cover is more sturdy and the paper is better quality.

Very nice, lined spiral journal. I plan to use this when traveling abroad so I can go back and re-live the memories of the trip, what I saw, my experiences, my reactions, etc. The elastic band can be used to keep the journal closed, or mark where I left of in my musings. I particularly like that it is spiral bound so it can lay flat. There is also a pocket on the back inside cover, perfect for ticket stubs, postcards, etc. I opted for the brown color, which is nice, but now I wish I had selected something easily to see in dim lighting. I also wish it had an elastic side loop so my pen would always be handy. Overall, this is a very nice journal, well-constructed & even water resistant which will be perfect for drizzly days. Very happy with this item.

It's a good notebook. The cover and pages have a good feel to them. The only problem with the notebook, was that the back arrived damaged with parts of the pink paint tearing off the point where the elastic band was attached to. It's not a big problem for me, but I thought I should mention it either way.
