I got this for some of my granddaughters clothes. She has passed and I would like to make several of these. The patterns are plastic and reusable, instructions are amazing.

Better than expected

I'm used to paper patterns when making items from patterns. Imagine my surprise when the pattern pieces were made of firm plastic. The quality and the instructions for assembly were clear. I can see using the pattern pieces many times without concern of wear. These bears don't take much fabric, and the directions are easy to follow.

Following its steps, so easy

I am an environmentalist. This is my husband's old shirt, and I made it into a memory bear. It's so cute. I love it

Bear too small. The directions are not clear.

Disappointing pattern. The acrylic pattern is fine but, the photo/shape of the bear is nothing like the actual pattern, plus the bear is very small, and the directions are not clear. I sent the pattern back.

Decent quaility templates plus instructions!

I haven't made a bear yet, but the templates are decent quality. I'd estimate the thickness and sturdiness of the templates as being similar to my omnigrid squares. I'm deducting a star because the smoothness of the edges isn't as nice as other rulers/squares, but still acceptable. I wish the notches on the templates were omitted so I could cut around them using my rotary blade without tracing the patterns onto the fabric. Again, it is still acceptable and useable as-is, but for those used to sewing the notches aren't really necessary. The set comes with directions which are easy to follow. I really like that they have a photo of the exact templates to use with each step along with the fabric pieces and lines indicating where to sew. The kit also comes with 4 eyes, but no tips/directions on how to install them. Overall, it is a decent kit.
