I have long wanted to try activated aharcoal odor absorbers, so when this Activated Charcoal Shoe Odor Absorber, 6 Pack caught my eye I had to take the leap. I tried them in a set of drawers that oddly has had a musty smell (drives me crazy and I cant figure out the source). I placed one in each of the three drawers and after 24 hours there is a strongly noticeable difference! Ill use a couple in some shoes and set one in my closet. Im very pleased so far. It says in the package they last up to two years! Love that, hope its true. I also loved this has six S-hooks in the package, these alone almost make up for the price tag (when you only want a small amount of these they can be a little bit pricey) I digressbecause I weirdly love S-hooks! lol they are so handy and I didnt expect to be gaining more. I think this Activated Charcoal Shoe Odor Absorber, 6 Pack is totally worth a try if youve ever wondered would this make a difference? I think yes, they seem to make a pretty good dent on lowering unwanted scents. Nice product!

I had an odor in one of them closets of the new place I moved into and couldnt get it out. After only a couple days with these hung up the odor disappeared and has not returned since!

Waste of money. Followed directions, left it in sun more than a day to activate. I wanted to use this to get rid of a slightly musty/chemical odor in a small 1960s overnight bag that had never been used aJd still in the original plastic. Left it in the closed suitcase for two weeks. Did not do anything, odor still the same.

I did a test with my husbands shoes. I placed a charcoal bag in only one shoe for two pairs of my husbands shoes, waited two days and then gave him both shoes (with no bag) and asked him to tell me which shoe the bag had been in. He was right in both cases. None of the shoes was really stinky, but he could tell a difference. Six bags that are approximately 6 x 2-1/2 are included in the set and they also come with grommets and s-hooks for hanging which was a surprise. Ive used larger bags in our closets with noticeable effect, so its a nice option to have. These say they are guaranteed for two years, but dont give the usual advise about recharging them every 6 months in the sun, although they look just like the ones that do so I was assume that will be the case. The bags seem nicely constructed and they work.

I have an antique dresser and one drawer has always had a funky smell. The smell even permeated any clothes kept in the drawer. I finally decided to try to do something about it and tried these little charcoal pouches. I left them sit in the sun a little before putting them in the dresser, though I didn't receive any instructions that specifically said to do that. I removed everything from the drawer and put a couple pouches in and gave it a few days. No more funky smell! I've kept one in the drawer after I put everything back in and so far the smell hasn't returned. This was definitely a good buy for me.
