This collar is just what i wanted. It has high visibility at night, it has soft padding, and it is quality material. The eyelets and buckle ensure that it wont tighten up around my dogs neck. Love the separate tag holder and the thick metal where the leash hooks on . They run Large.if in between sizes go for the smaller collar. My 70# & 30# dogs each have this collar in orange. They like the padded neck area

I like that this collar has a metal buckle. I feel that it is more secure if my dog decides to pull really hard on the leash while walking. The other kind of plastic buckles (not sure what you call them) broke when she saw a cat and took off after it. I was left stainding with a leash and collar attached to it, while my dog has bolted after the cat. That is why I wanted to try this metal buckle. I thinkj that it will hold up very well. Working on training my dog on leash walking. Praying that she will catch on soon.

My spoiled rotten Golden Retriever Maddie needed a new collar. We chose this one because it was sturdy with a soft underside. It fit her perfectly and the pink color is bright enough to be seen.

This is my second purchase of this collar already, as my dog outgrew the small size. The reflective material works really well at night when a light hits it even lightly, the material is thick and not cheap, the stitching seems good (no issues here on 2 collars), the clasp has not come undone or caused any issues (the day care my dog has frequented removes the collar and puts their own on, then replaces it when I pick him up). I don't expect my dog will outgrow this one, so I am sure he will have it for many years. Only complaint, and not really a complaint at that, is that the ring for the leash constantly swings to the bottom (gotta love gravity) and I have to force my dog to lift his head up, so I can get down there and connect the leash (he has loose skin, so it folds over the collar unless he is standing up and looking alert (or pulling on the leash). Thankfully he has not gotten aggressive over having his collar grabbed. I like the padding on the collar, that is supposed to go around the dogs throat, but it does not most of the time, as it only covers about 80% of the circumference. There is no padding where the clasp is located, which happens to be right next to the leash ring, those two things cause that side of the collar to be heavier and swing around to the bottom; however, when walking, the ring stays mostly on top, as the leash pulls on it, so the padding is around his throat then at least. Also, I want to note, that I did get the red collar, and have not had any color bleeding when it gets wet (my dog loves water), my last dog had a blue collar (different brand) and got a semi-permanent ring around his neck from wearing it. I do not see any issues with this one that might indicate that to be a possibility.
