I know a lot of people have complained and even provided pictures with the camera hole not lining up, but I just installed this case on my iPad Air 2 and it lines up perfectly. So, it could just be a prior bad batch or perhaps intermittent quality control issues, but they aren't all like that. I bought it to be dustproof, so I can't attest to waterproof ability, but it seems like it seals up nice and tight.

Ive used Otterbox ever since I started carrying an iPad. I saw this one and thought it was a few bucks cheaper, so why not? Let me tell you why not 1. The fingerprint Id never worked with this. I just quit using it to open my iPad. I never was able to get it to line up correctly 2. December 26, 2920, I was sitting in a recliner and the iPad slid off my lap yo the floor. Maybe 18 inches tops. Good bye iPad. I was not able to turn it on again after that. I called apple support and through them, and after erasing the iPad in case of buggy software, discovered that it was a hardware problem due to the iPad falling off my lap and onto the floor. My choices were to take it to an apple authorized repair shop, abut an hour away or buy a new one (about $1,000). Upon contacting the shop I was told there oils be at least a month before they could do the repair needed. The gentleman did tell me that the case did not do its job in protecting the iPad. I use my iPad extensively in my work and couldnt afford to go without one for a month. (It was a first generation iPad Pro, purchased in 2016). Im writing this review on my new iPod Pro. I think this company should reimburse the cost of the new iPad because of its failure to do what they claimed it could do.

Exactly the right case for my old ipad. Tested the waterproofing and it was flawless. Got this to carry in my sxs as the navigation system.

This was a replacement for one of those smart cases. For me, this is much better! I can be confident when I take it anywhere there is water or in the kitchen and not worry about damaging my iPad. it's got sturdy plugs for the connectors to keep them water-tight. The strap is awesome. I can just pick it up and if my hands are full, no worries. I can carry my iPad without dropping it. A nice case! I bought a tablet shoulder bag to keep it transportable. The cost for this case and the shoulder bag was less than a less versatile case.

Good case. I can still hear the sound fine but just dont put it down...sound gets all muffled when its like that. Just a note, Some headphones can double as microphones, like the ones with a button along the cord. UPDATE: After 4 months of ownership, the adhesive around the home button wore off...immediately bought a new one (under heavy use, brought it with me literally everywhere I went, whenever I went out...which was often...everyday...almost every waking minute of the day....yeah)
