The sponges arent quite as thick as some other brands. However they get the job done just the same! The sponge has two sides to maximize use and ease of cleaning. Same material you find on most two sides sponges. For the number of sponges youre getting, its a great price. They last long and dont get worn down fast.

The supermarket brand sponge seems to last longer and the soft sponge part there is thicker, but this one is well priced and still works well. Changing it more often is probably good for hygiene.

I got these based on some other reviews. They said that they last longer than others, but I have found that not to be true so far. First they come in an shrinkwrap with all the air sucked out. I love that for reducing emissions etc. except that once you cut open the pack they all expand and the box that they come in no longer fits the expanded sponges. So then I am stuck trying to find somewhere to store them. Why couldn't they shrink seal each sponge individually? Would have loved that idea saving space in my home! However they do NOT do that because they come in 2 sheets of sponges that you have to separate yourself. Problem is that they do not all tear apart easily or perfectly. I got the white "natural" sponges, and the brown "scrubby" side ( feels and looks like coconut hair) has all these long "hairs" hanging off and when you pull them off most of the scrubby side come off! UGH. So you will have to trim all of your sponges after to very carefully break them apart. Who has time or energy to put so much effort into a freaking sponge! these are also smaller and thinner than any other sponge. so these hold no fluid. the other problem is that with the sponge being so thin the scrubby part is very stiff and sponge is hard to manipulate to get into corners etc. Finally, even the post says to throw in dishwasher to clean, but when I did (top rack) the 2 portions came apart and the brown scrubby hairs disintegrated and got all over the dishes! Good thing I don't use the drying cycle or else they would have been glued onto everything. The price wasn't even that great and could not make up for the extra work needed to even use these. I'm back to my scotch brite. Cheap at BJ's in a mega pack!

I was surprised at how strong and how long these sponges last. Im going on 3 weeks and its not falling apart at all. There is no chemical smell. The rougher part works on pots and pans without scratching. They do seem very very small, but when you take them out of the bag and get them wet they puff up to standard sized sponges (just like a natural sponge or a brand new foam bed). You can buy with confidence from this sellerthey are fast, reliable and have a great product. At $1 more per sponge (from the Dollar Store and zero cost difference from grocery store sponges), its worth it to avoid the infertility, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases that PFAS products cause. And if thats too much, as I know times are tough, a good old fashioned 100% cotton washcloth is better than the alternative. These sponges are great & worth trying at least once. For me, these are on my shopping list from now on.

These sponges are thin but they work as well as the thicker version in the grocery stores But cost much less. Wash well in watching machine. Highly recommended!
