Works great but the only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is because the handle never fully tightens it feels loose and a little wobbly.

Cleaning aquarium glass is now super easy

I used to dread scrubbing algae off the aquarium glass, but this algae scraper made life a lot easier. It scrapes off algae almost effortlessly leaving a crystal clear glass. Love it!!

Too short for a 20 gal bow front, so i glued a dowel onto it.

This thing scrapes mold off of my polycarbinate bow front tank with absolutely no scrubbing and no scratching. (Just take care not to slice the silicon cement out of the corners!) Baby, where have you been hiding all these years? It uses a double-edge blade which is a nuisance to install - but the blade flexes to accommodate the curved tank and lasts FOREVER. I haven't changed mine yet. My only problem, as the headline states, is that it was too short for my 20 gal. bowfront tank so I drilled a hole in the end of an 18" x 3/8" dowel and glued it together with food grade epoxy. My tank never looked better and no more of that infernal scrubbing!

Didn't scratch my tank and did a great job scraping algae off. Only complaint: the razor blade is a little smaller than what's holding it in place, so I couldn't get the corners since the blade doesn't go all the way to the edge. Had to use a tooth brush for my corners. Overall much better than I expected.
