Been looking for this forever!

I love this product because it has a small base and doesn't take up a lot of real estate on the limited space on my dashboard. My dashboard has a slight curvature, so I put this in my vise and got a pair of channel locks and gave it a slight bend and it works perfectly now. No gaps. The ball has a machined texture which is a huge advantage because it provides extra grip for the female part of the swivel. This is really a great product and I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a better place on their dash to mount their phone and not block their vents in doing so. LOVE IT!

A solid adapter

Needed a ball mount adapter for a phone mount. Finding this in 17mm and aluminum, not HDPE, was great. Expect to get years of service from it.

Good 17mm ball

Good machining. Ball has a texture that enhances gripping of the arm I'm using, which is the Fanaue DA-605 and Fanaue CPC-09 phone holder. This ball mount comes with screws, wall anchors, but I opted to super glue it to a flat spot on my vehicle's center console with Vibra-Tite 388. Black glue, black ball mount, and black vehicle interior all working out.

WOW Just what I needed

I had been trying to find a way to mount my Garmin to my dash in my car and this literally saved me aggravation and annoyances! Simple and easy to mount, the ball is the exact size of the suction mount that they give you, and it is so much better than a suction POS that will fall or leave a nasty stain or something else on the the dash!
