This kit has the essentials to pull switches, open, and lube them all in one. I tried another switch opener and it failed me over and over. This one is simple and easy to use/store away in the carrying kit.

The kit came with everything in the description. One of the photos includes a slider picker (stem holder tool) and it does not include that! That would have completed the kit nicely! Docking one star for that! I used the kit to lube over 100 gateron box stems, so the tweezers worked better than the slider picker would have anyway! The switch opener is great, solid build, opened cherry and kaihl switches with ease. There is a hole in the bottom and while this seemed gimmicky, for those 1 to 2 lower housings that sometimes get stuck during a lube/film session, it was really nice to pop it out from the bottom instead of having to try to pry it out. The switch puller in the kit is quality. Its going to be the only one you ever need. The other relevant accessories (keycap puller, brush, tweezers) are relatively cheaply built, but will do the job if you don't have anything better to use. For me, the tweezers did a lot of work during my session for laying switch films, grabbing lubed up springs out of the bag, and holding the edge of the box stem. I'd rather pull keycaps off with my fingers than to use the type of tool that was included (the wire one is far superior, change my mind). The brush did its job, but it wasn't the main driver to apply lube. It is definitely disposable and it ended up being disposed of after I was done. I do like that there was a little included bag for everything to fit into. Nothing fancy, but it keeps everything together for the next time its needed and tidy in the drawer. I would definitely recommend this kit just for the switch opener and the switch puller alone if its on sale. I did get it on black friday pricing and so it was a really good deal!

I am just starting to get into assembling an MK for the first time. I had bought a Cherry MX and a Gateron switch tester from Griarrac already so I decided to give their switch opener kit a try. I did not want to spend a bunch on stuff until I knew what I wanted so the bundle works just fine for me. The opener is the best item in the bag being metal and all. Everything else was just the inexpensive version to get you by until you figure out what you want. If you are just starting out and don't want to spend a lot buying each specialized tool, this is a great kit to try.

Finally got around to lubing my switches and this was very handy. A little bit harder to use than the individual ones means specially for each kind of switch but overall it works as it should. The magnetic cover and extras provided along with it were a nice touch.

The media could not be loaded. This kit is great. The switch opener is very easy to use and has a very nice look and feel. The high quality of the components and the assortment of helpful tools that come in this kit make it well worth the price. This will certainly be a big help when I lube my switches.
