I love that this product has enabled me to not have to replace my orginal stereo in my classic car. It's the perfect solution, easy to use, and sounds great.

I've only used it one time so far but I am confident that if it remains working exactly the same then my views will remain. First the cons. 1, I have keen hearing when it comes to music so the moment that there's a bit of silence I hear the gears rolling in the unit. 2, the audio quality isn't as good as the wired version but it's only noticeable if you actively compare them. Those two cond aren't great enough to give this product less than a 5 star rating because the pros outweigh them. 1, easy to setup right out of the box, no instructions needed. Connects instantly to my Samsung galaxy S24 within seconds. 2, sound quality is really good. You lose a little low end bass but hardly noticeable plus you're mixing old technology with newer so some loss is expected. High frequency is really good with negligible difference with the wired version. If your tape deck comes with the noise reduction or Dolby option try it. Makes the world of difference in sharpness. 3, charged and ready to go out of the box. There's no way to tell how much charge but without me doing so I was able to run it for 2 hours and it still wasn't dead so it's safe to say that you can go on a trip right out of the package and you'll be fine. 3, At first I thought it was kinda low until I raised the volume on the phone and I was pleasantly surprised that the sound quality didn't fade all the way up to about 95% then it became too much for the tape deck input. This is not a negative since everything has its limitations but at that level you're not missing anything. 4, it took about an hour to indicate flashing red to alternate flashing red and blue. I'm not sure if that's fully charged or almost charged but it doesn't matter. In conclusion, this is a great buy for the cost so far long as it doesn't break down plus one less wire to deal with in the car. 5, I have multiple older cars all with tape decks that I refuse to upgrade because I still like the natural sound of audio tapes which I still use. This allows me to easily transfer from one car to the next almost seamlessly and I'm happy. This is a good buy in my opinion. Sound quality is great, sound level is great and I hope the battery life remains good for a long time. If someone can come up with a self charging option built in, that would make it the greatest product of all time. There's already kinetic energy, come up with a way of recharging the battery internally using that. It's low voltage, low current guaranteed to outsell every other unit like it.

I was bit a skeptical, but music from phone like from Pandora and YouTube sounds surprisingly really good! I use it with my 2003 car that the FM died on and doesn't have Bluetooth capability, and I wasn't wanting to spend the money on a new stereo. As other have suggested, you can remove some or all of the internal gears to help reduce noise when the cassette is running in the stereo. However, when music is on, you don't notice the noise of the gears. I highly recommend this adapter!

This unit works as advertised. It connects easily to my Pixel Pro 6 mobile phone and produces clear sound from the cassette player in my 2005 Toyota Prius. Operating the unit is a little complicated. There is only one button, which you press and hold for a different number of seconds depending on whether you want to turn it on, off, or connect to Bluetooth. You'll want to keep the instructions on hand for the first few times you operate it. Take care not to overdrive the unit: if you find the sound is distorted, turn down the volume on your mobile device. I find I get the clearest sound when I set my phone at about 75% volume. I have not yet tested the battery life on the adaptor, nor how long it takes to recharge. In my particular cassette deck, it is not possible access the charging port while using the adaptor. I doubt any sort of cassette player would provide access to the charging port while the adaptor is in use. You'll have to listen to some other audio source while you're recharge the adaptor using the USB cable provided, and in my car, a cigarette lighter adaptor. Or you can bring it into your home to charge it. Just don't forget it the next time you go for a drive! And when you're not using it, I think you need to turn it off in order to preserve the battery charge. I don't believe it has an automatic "sleep" function when no Bluetooth signal is present. This involves ejecting the cassette and pressing the off button. Not a big deal, but one more fiddly thing to remember. Overall, this product is a well-designed solution that can make virtually any cassette player a nice-sounding Bluetooth receiver! Other reviewers have mentioned the "clicking" noise that occurs during operation, and I can hear it too. Evidently it is necessary to engage the old tape spooling mechanism in the tape player in order to engage the tape head. The clicking is a little distracting. I wonder if a different design could eliminate this noise.

The media could not be loaded. Every song or podcast played on this sounds fuzzy. Podcasts are especially bad, it makes everyone sound like a robot, obviously this applies to music as well. It stops playing if there is a slight bump in the road or if I make a turn. It also fails to turn off with the car as advertised, and never charges up all the way. Its only saving grace is that it did work, just not well at all. You're better off getting a cassette to aux adapter, they're cheaper and the sound quality is much better. Update: It's new favorite thing to do is pop out of my player randomly. It will do this MULTIPLE times per song and doesn't pause the music that I'm listening to when it does it. It is INCREDIBLY annoying and has put this product on the list of things that has earned my hatred. In summary, this thing is AWFUL. I never misused it and followed every direction given to me by the packaging. It only lasted maybe a WEEK before developing these terrible aspects. Absolutely terrible product, I really wish that I'm the only one who experienced this. I got a video of it clicking and popping out on its own. There are no other buttons for ejecting a tape other than the one in the video, that you can see I didn't touch. Absolutely ridiculous.
