I like this velvet texture ribbon, but I think it's more like microfiber suede than velvet. See photos. I tried to adjust them to show the texture. The description says Dutch velvet so maybe that's the difference. It doesn't have the ribbon edge like a traditional velvet ribbon, but it is very soft and has the same texture on both sides. That also means it is rather thick. I think it could look really classy for certain projects. Unfortunately, I think it is probably going to shed. I don't regret getting it, it's just a bit different than I thought. I got the 3/8' size, in black, and it is 50 yards for $9.99. A pretty good price!

This Rose Gold Double Sided Velvet ribbon is a very nice craft ribbon. It comes on a roll of 20 yards and is 1.5 inches wide, which is a nice size for packages or crafting projects. If your style is either Victorian, Romantic or Cottage, you will probably love this ribbon! Very nice price-point for a nice product.

I wasnt looking for ribbon that day I saw this available for a Vine review, but Ive looked for ribbon so many times before and come up empty. Thats because she hides the ribbon somewhere I cant find! So I picked a 3/8 double sided and figure Ill have a stash of green ribbon, when I want to wrap packages! Pffffttt. This ribbon itself is not likely in the top rankings for Velvet, but not near the bottom either. And for a gift, this is just fine to the touch, IMHO. The "super green" color is great, the touch is good, so nothing left but price. This is 20 yards or 60 feet. Divide the price you see by 60 and you have price per foot. Again, for double sided 3/8 velvet this is average for the others on ZeeBooth today. You can pay less and you can pay more. Unfortunately what I cant tell you is if the ones that are less per foot are going to be worthy of your gift. My suggestion, get one roll of this, if you find this worthy, you will then have found a source for 16 different colors of ribbon in 6 different widths! So you have a reliable source for 96 different ribbons that ARE worthy. Seems silly, but for me this spool will lay flat in a drawer and not take up much space. Like under the socks!
