Doesnt work

My iPad will recognize the Ethernet connection, but I cant get an internet connection. The xfinity app recognizes the adapter by name, but still no connection. Ive been in touch with apple support, everything is working, but still no internet connection. Ive also tried 3 different Ethernet cables and still nothing. As with most everything else Ive been purchasing from ZeeBooth, Im finding that Im getting inferior products. Pay attention to the 1 star reviews of anything you are considering to purchase from ZeeBooth, as that is where youre going to find the honest truth. Im sticking to buying dvd/blu-rays from ZeeBooth, those seem to be the only items that work or are non toxic. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Great problem solver

I was experiencing interruptions when watching live videos, so I hard-wired my iPad directly to the router, using this adapter. Problem solved.

Works, but not in all environments

Final Update: Downgrading again. In same on-site situation, the device intermittently decides it won't work in 100Mbps mode, only 10Mbps regardless of being connected to a gigabit router simultaneously tested to be providing 200+ Mbps. Decided to stick with the OEM Apple Camera Camera adapter and an Insignia USB3 to Ethernet adapter. Returning. Update to first review: Upgrading rating from 3 to 4 stars (really 3.5 stars). When testing this device on-site (previously tested using home network), the initially disappointing performance improved and it did indeed work in 100Mbps mode. I was getting 30/100+ on a network delivering 200+/200+ internet bandwidth which is sufficient for the application and much less expensive than $100 Belkin unit (we don't use PoE). Not sure what the device is looking for to switch from 10 to 100 Mbps since both test situations were connected to gigabit routers with high bandwidth available and the same power source and connected device (iPad Air 1). Because of this I am keeping this adapter for the iPad Air (audio mixer interface) and using an Apple USB Camera Adapter with a gigabit USB3 to ethernet adapter plugged into it for the iPad Gen 6 (requires max bandwidth for streaming). Depending on your situation, you may get OK or poor performance, so caveat emptor. For a live streaming setup just got this and tried it on an iPad air running iOS 12.5.5 and an iPad Gen 6 running 15.7.1 connected to 150/150 ethernet and power. The adapter works but tops out at 9.5/9.5 on both devices indicating it is only functioning as a 10 Mbps adapter. I connected the ethernet directly to my laptop that has a 100Mbps port and got almost 100/100. I also used a Gigabit adapter on my android phone and got the full 150/150, so it's not the ethernet, it's the adapter. Just using WiFi I can get 80/60 so what's the point of being tethered to sub 10 Mbps ethernet? Sending back and getting a usb 3.0 gigabit ethernet adapter to connect to an Apple USB 3 camera adapter. Pretty sure this will give me over 100/100 like I can achieve on my android, plus it will give me 3 open USB ports to connect peripherals to the iPad like a mouse, keyboard and external storage. I guess there's a reason this level of devices are so inexpensive.
