I absolutely love this background! It's vibrant & beautiful. It was simple to attach to the back of the tank. All u have to do is make sure the glass is clean, leave wet, then wet the front & back of decal, peel off the adhesive & stick it to the back of the tank w the good side facing the front. I then just used a credit card to get the bubbles out, also cut the sides & bottom w scissors & Voila! Done. I would def purchase this again

This was easy to apply and the measuring guides on the back of it made it easy to cut to size. Looks great and blends perfectly with the theme of my tank.

Looks good on tank. Had lots of bubbles but used a credit card to squeeze them out. Would give 5 stars if it came with installation tools.

The background came rolled up and is a beautiful landscape. It also came with no instructions or a squeegee to press the the air bubbles out. Both would have been a big help with the application of the background. Even reading previous comments instructing how to apply this it was still difficult to do. Unless youre a professional with this product - this will be youre results. Not very pleasing to the eye with all the air bubbles.

There is NOTHING wrong with this background. It's flawless and works perfectly. To install, do this: 1. Clean the back aquarium glass 2. Spray barely soapy water all over the back glass with a spray bottle. A few drops of dishwashing liquid in a couple cups of water is fine. 3. Now, with the GOOD side facing YOU, and the BAD side facing the tank, push the background onto the wet glass and it will cling to the glass by itself. Yes, you are first placing this on the WRONG Way at first. You are NOT installing it yet. The reason you do this is to be able to peel off the backing and prepare the sticky side with more fluid. 4. Peel off the backing while it's stuck to the tank. I had to cut my edge slightly in order to get the backing off, because the edge was kinda sealed together too well. 5. After you peel the backing off, Spray the GOOD side down with the same soapy water, all the way. This will allow you to align and move it when you flip it over and install it. 6. Flip the background around and install it the correct way onto the back of the glass. I like to install the top edge against the top trim of the aquarium and then have both sides and bottom with excess hanging over. I do this because the gravel will cover the bottom edge, if it's not perfectly trimmed. 7. Using your hands and peeling and re-affixing it if necessary try to get most of the air out. It's easiest to just start on one edge and let the background unroll onto the remaining surface. You don't need all the bubbles out yet, just want to get it sorta good to make less work for yourself. 8. When you are happy with the alignment (check from the front of the aquarium) and you think that's there's no huge wavy bubbles, using a credit card, from the center out, use it to push the remaining bubbles out the sides of the background. Take your time and don't scrape too hard, so you don't rip it. You can wrap the card in a paper towel to soften the edge etc... This takes about 2-3 minutes, so don't rush it and keep checking the front of the aquarium to see bubbles you may have missed or can't see from the back. 9. Using an extremely sharp, preferably brand new razor blade or exacto knife, trim the bottom and sides away, using the bottom trim and glass corners as a guide. This part is really satisfying and you will get a laser edge and professional looking install. This process should take about 15-20 minutes, but you will have a perfectly aligned, trimmed and bubble free background that is really easy to align how you want and remove the bubbles.
