Have this heater for a year and a half now and it is still going strong! I bought this for a 10 gallon tank. Didnt fail me yet. Would recommend!

Quit working and temperature rose way too high

This has worked well for 3 years.... but I got lucky yesterday and caught it trying to fry my fish and shrimp! 75-78degrees no problem for 3 years. Yesterday my Temps were 95 on the side it was on and 90 on the other side. Yikes.

Poor!

Horrible heater. It says its good for a 20 gallon tank but it wont even eat my 15 gallon tank. I cant get it to go above 70. Extremely disappointed. Would love to get a refund but its probably too late

Just fine for me

I've had this heater for 4 months now and it's been mostly good. It doesn't seem to get any hotter than 82 for me, which is fine since I only need 78-80 degrees. The dial does not correspond with the actual temperature produced. For example, I have to set my dial to "84" (highest setting is "88") to get it to reach a temperature around 78-80. But it does heat nicely once I have the setting right. Another thing is that when I want to adjust the temp down by a couple of degrees, it is hard to do. I adjust the dial just a little bit and it will go down several more degrees than I expected, so I have to watch it closely. Despite these issues, it does work and is safer in some ways than other heaters on the market, and it looks nice. Good price. I can ignore the small annoyances easily enough. *** Still going after two years with no major issues and never exploded or hurt my fish. 50 watt is ideal for my 5 gallon and I use 100 watt for my 10 gallon

Excellent Heater; Excellent Company

If your on the fence about buying this product don't be! I've had this heater since October 2020 and it has been perfect. My tank is consistently maintained a temp of 75 degrees. The sleek black color is a matte color and it looks very good in the tank as you are able to hide it even with Led lights above. Their customer service is fast in response, friendly and they are the best that I have experienced. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to any one.
