My dog smelled it and wouldn't try it. So I bit it and it has a strong oder and horrible taste. She won't use it.

Very durable

This chew toy is a life saver. After introducing many toys over the course of 6 months to our 2 dogs. This is the only one to survive! Our dogs are large breed dogs and will completely chew the heck out of anything. Thank goodness for this toy! Its like a big chunk of tire, with baking soda for their teeth. You can put a treat inside so they can try and get it out but not easily. Highly, highly recommended!!!!

Good and sturdy!

This thing survived the first two days with my bulldog mix but after that both they and the Chihuahua lost interest, hence the 4 stars. Other than that, a perfect toy that is STILL in great shape, months later.

My dog's favorite emotional support toy

My dog is a small - medium, 30 lb terrier mix, she chews as if her life depends on it. This gorilla goes everywhere with her. She is either gnawing the heck out if it, tossing it all over the house, or she is lavishly licking it like a giant jaw breaker. It is the perfect size for a game of hide and seek as well. I have NOT put anything in the hole of this gorilla because it's more fun to poke my finger in it and fling it wildly across the room or safely play tug of war. It does not seem at all easy to clean treats, peanut butter or kong pepperoni cheese out of it. I bought this for my best friend after seeing another review on here where the dogs had gnawed the face off the gorilla and it was filthy looking but the dogs loved it as if it was brand new. Now I can see why. I want to buy another one but not because I'm afraid this one will get ruined but because we both would be devastated if it ever got lost.
