I got this for doing crafts with my granddaughters. So easy to use and a nice verity of colors. Colors were flat acrylic but still looked nice. LESS mess moms! I still put down a plastic sheet to protect the table, NO SPILLING OF PAINT! I would recommend for art projects with children.

We have been decorating fish cutouts to replace lost/damaged ones from the last major hurricane these are perfect to put the right amount of paint on in a controlled manner. Havent tried for rock painting, but thats next.

I opened 3 pens to test for color and flow. 1. Gold - color is much more orange than cap, but a nice gold. Primed easily, flowed consistently as would be expected. 2. Silver - color is good, priming was super quick, flowed smoothly and consistently. 3. Champagne Gold - Color is a bit browner than cap, would call it antique gold, difficult to prime, pen won't stay primed, flow is inconsistent similar to a dry marker. All 3 pens were extremely slow to cure on my test wood. I'm reluctant to try others as I plan to return them. These pens aren't reliable enough for my art project.

I normally work in spray paint, but Im in a small apartment now and wanted something with a similar feel that didnt have the fumes. I had never used these before but I hoped theyd give me the same vibrant colors with quick drying time so I could work faster. I took me a bit to get used to them, but but you can actually accomplish a lot of different techniques by blending and layering. They work a bit like alcohol-based markers, especially on something like canvas that doesnt absorb the oil, but theyre also opaque enough that you can work from dark to light. I honestly didnt think Id get this level of detail out of these, but I love how it turned out. I actually mixed two different sets at similar price points but saw no noticeable difference in quality. They all came individually wrapped and they all work as expected. These colors were vibrant but more natural than the other set I ordered, so I ended up using these most of the time. But yeah, super easy to use. No washing brushes or paint water. Will definitely order again.

I bought these for my granddaughter, she loves art and she has been wanting to paint some rocks. Her rocks turned out really nice, however I decided to spray a clear coat of sealant and that was a mistake, the paint started running off the rocks, ruining her amazing art pieces. They work great and the colors are vibrant, just don't use anything else on them or wash whatever you paint with them.
