I dropped it on accident on my way to work only within 2 feet off the ground. Its way too easy to break and I suggest making it so that it doesnt and waste anybodys money.

Instructions were not very detailed and were very difficult to understand. Never got it to work.

This basically did not work in my husband's car ( a Chevy Volt) because the cigarette lighter in that car is located inside the console. This made it pretty much impossible to use as a hands-free device as he would have to be lifting up the lid to the console to reach the controls, thereby defeating the purpose of a hands-free device, with is to be able to keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. That is not the fault of this device, but of the poor design of the Chevy Volt. We did try it in my car. I have a 2006 Acura MDX which comes with a built-in hands-free Bluetooth phone connection, so I didn't need it for that. But for some reason, the MDX does not have an AUX input, so while I can talk on the phone hands-free, it does not allow me to run music or audiobooks through my car speakers. I hoped this device would allow me to do that. I have two similar devices that I purchased in the past and they both had problems with excessive noisy static when the car was moving. No problem with static when the car is sitting still but idling. I found that this problem still existed with this device, regardless of which frequency I tried tuning it to. This was about as noisy as the first one I had purchased, but not as noisy as the 2nd one, which was by far the worst. So I cannot testify to how it works as a hands-free device for telephone calls, but for music or audiobooks through the car speakers, I did not find it satisfactory.

Definitely love this product my fiance is enjoying the product vehicle at noggins was the ability to be able to do hands-free calling while driving and not have to worry about either the person on the other line or ourselves not being able to hear the call due to being on speakerphone and it also means that we don't have to hold a phone to our ear which works out wonderful for us especially being busy and always on the go this is a very must need. Also I don't have bluetooth capability in my vehicle because my vehicle is in order one and it works with my vehicle so definitely recommend if you have an older vehicle and you want Bluetooth this is your go-to device

EDIT: After using for about 6 months, it is not functioning properly. I can no longer hear my phone (like with Siri) or the other side of phone calls. It's still connecting, I can listen to music and podcasts via the Spotify app. And I can hear Apple' navigation for directions. But I cannot hear the other end of phone calls (although my callers can hear me) and I can speak to Siri, but I can't hear her response. So, when I do voice text, I can't hear Siri ask what I want to say, etc. I'm incredibly annoyed, as I now have to switch to my phone's speaker when driving (and manually change from the Carkit). The installation took me about 12 minutes. My main issue was that my cars radio would not adjust to the preset radio FM station. But once I figured out how to change this bluetooth devices preset number, I got it working! The music plays great and when a call comes in, the car switches over to the call. The caller on the other end said it was a bit noisy but it was better than nothing. I could hear the caller fine. Overall, Im happy with the device for my 2008 (pre-Bluetooth enabled car).
