Second photo is a closer shot after I rearranged tank, I did remove one of these plants to add some live plants. Oh and Taz is trying to get attention.. aka food.) I bought these during the set up for my Bettas new 5 gal tank. I was looking for something tall to fill up the background but Im always hesitant to use plastic and extremely picky when choosing artificial plants. Lets be honest, fish keeping can get pricey so Im always on the lookout for a good deal but always putting my pets safety & health first. So, if I thought there was even a slight chance that it would rip my Bettas fins I would have never placed them in his tank. I decided to give these a chance and they actually exceeded my expectations. They are tall with leaves that vary in size and very thin & very soft for plastic. The stems dont have wire on the inside and are flexible enough to move with the water flow. Personally, I think they are aesthetically pleasing, they dont scream PLASTIC and dont look extremely cheap.. In MY opinion, for the price, you cant beat it. Im happy and Taz likes them. I wouldnt try putting in anything smaller than a 5gallon because of the size of the leaves and how tall they are. Although Im only using one at the moment, I plan on using again in the future. Id recommend!

Bought these for my betta who is recovering from finrot. Needed something soft that would not damage his delicate fins. These are soft, like wig hair, but the color came off in the water. At first I thought it was an optical illusion from adding something green to my tank in which all the other artificial plants were white. I also have some Indian almond leaves in there which stain the water, so I thought maybe that was what it was. Stupidly I left them overnight and the water was a drastically different color in the morning. I removed them and put them in a separate bowl water to soak so I could confirm. The water in the bowl was green in less than an hour. I should have soaked them before putting them in the tank, instead I just gave them a good rinse until the chemical smell was gone. Now I will be spending my day doing 100% water change and praying my fish doesnt die from the stress or the chemicals. Edit: The seller contacted me and sent a replacement. I soaked the new product in a bowl of water overnight and the water was clear the next morning (no green!). So my advice is, soak them in a bowl before putting in tank and if defective know that the seller will make it right. Changing review from one star to 4.

After 2 months, he got sick all of a sudden and was looking like he was on his last legs. (didn't leave his house, sorta curled up). I did a whole bunch of reading up on betta illness and what we could be doing wrong. One thing I noticed was that they liked to hide - his current tank did not have good plants or hiding spots. I ordered these plants on a whim. WOW. They are so cool - super soft. They fan out in the water and are perfect hiding spots for fish. JimBob LOVES these plants. In addition to changing his food and feeding him a weekly pea to flush his system can you believe this guy made a full recovery? Now I know the plants didn't cure him, but they certainly made him happy. I would buy these again in an instant.

Aquarium Plants Decoration,Artificial Plants for Fish Tank,10 Inches/25cm High,2 Pack. I bought these for my oto cats living in a 10-gallon tank with a lady betta friend. The size is just right for a lush 10-gallon, but they are big enough to be worthwhile contributions to any "long" tank. Otos love big, flat leaves, and bettas need betta-safe decor with no hard edges or points. These plants are perfect in every way. They have a very heavy base that is just the right height for the grass at the bottom to not get lost in the gravel. The stems are thick enough that the plants stay completely upright, even out of water. The leaves are firmly attached -- none came off of the stems, even in my clutzy hands, and even when the otos attach to them (which they love to do!). They look fairly natural, but the colors are bright enough that you could mix them with less-natural decor easily if you wanted to tone-down your neon tank a little. They cost more than I would normally pay for aquarium decor, but I don't regret it, because the quality is so good. I will definitely buy more of these next time I set up a new tank.
