This was a really fun for me to do. It was my first time embroidering. Its easier than you expect! The step by step instructions are hardly that. BUT enough information is given so that you can easily figure it out (YouTube and online to learn stitches). Things I modified from what was sent: I went and bought a wooden hoop rather than the plastic one provided to add to the finished look after stitching. Also the light green sent is more brown (its ugly) and I swapped out with a light green I had on hand. There may or may not be a missing color that I got new thread for (one of the flower colors). Things I wish I knew and/or learned googling: at the end, RINSE/WASH IT (look up how) - the blue pattern goes away!!! I was worried about covering the pattern the entire time but its not necessary! It doesnt seem to matter what order you do the colors in honestly. The end product ends up better than each little leaf you think you messed up. Look up how to finish it (cutting and stitching excess fabric). Overall, it feels intimidating at first and I put off starting it but its hard to really mess up. It started my embroidery obsession (have multiple going now). Its relaxing to do and satisfying. I like this much more than cross stitching. Buy it, try it, change whatever you want to make it yours, and google.

There was plenty of thread to go with this project with LOTS left over. The linen was crisp, white, and high quality. I had a lot of fun doing this and even went rogue with some flowers and made up my own designs.

My first time embroidering and I think Ive found myself a new hobby! The pattern was handy and the instructions were ok but of the 4 stitches they showed there was one I could not get to work right. For that part of the pattern I just made up my own stitch and was happy with how it turned out! There was more than enough thread in every color and everything worked great for me!
