Ive had this product for just over a month. Worked great at first but now it doesnt. Bluetooth signal started going in and out via the device and then all of a sudden the connector stopped working altogether. I had my computer checked out just to make sure it wasnt related. Everything is fine computer wise. I do not recommend this product. Go with another brand.

I almost returned this product, but the Avantree support team had my back. The packaging reads like the DG80P is for PS5, but it also works perfectly for an audio-only setup on PC. Avantree support responded within a business day and sorted out my initial confusion. They were very polite, and sent me a video that answered my questions in 30 seconds. This thing connects almost instantly and has better range than my old turtle beach headphones had with their proprietary dongle.

This Bluetooth USB was terrific when I first got it, It takes a little while to sync to a pair of headphones but once it connected It worked perfectly! Instructions were clear, and the packaging was so small I could store the little USB piece in it so It stayed protected and was not lost easily. But after about 6 months it would disconnect randomly, and after a year it was worse. Now at this point, it's completely unusable. I received the USB device not recognized error and that's all. Not sure if this is due to Windows updates phasing out older technology or if it's an issue with the USB itself.

Update 06/25/23: Avantree reached out after the review and offered support, and to send a replacement adapter to see if it fixed my issues. With the second one there were some issues as well, so they're refunding me for the original. Added some stars because I should have tried to contact them to begin with, would have saved me a good bit of time getting to this point. Original: Worked pretty great for the first 3 months. Audio quality was comparable to wired, latency was unnoticeable in both video and games. After that it had the first hiccup where it just disconnected from the PC and I had to swap it to a new USB port, went back to normal. Few weeks later it did the same thing, swapped again and fine for a bit. At this point I'm lucky if I get most of a day before I have to move it to a new port, and even then it's roulette whether it'll work, disconnect within a minute, or just give the pc a device error. Driver updates or even their firmware update process don't change the behavior.

This device is awesome. Just plug it in and it works. Pairing with two Bluetooth headsets was perfect the first time and very fast. When I initially plugged it in to my Chromebook it immediately went into pairing mode, so I setup the 1st headset. It took about 10 seconds to find it and pair it. I pressed the button for 5 seconds and again it went into pairing mode and the 2nd headset was ready to go. Fired up a video and BAM! Crystal clear audio out of both headsets with no noticeable delay. I took off the headsets and suddenly the sound stopped. What?? My headsets have the feature when directly connected via Bluetooth to my phone or laptop that when I take the headsets off whatever I'm watching or listening to pauses. When I put them back on they resume. I put the headset back on and BAM! the show started playing again. Wow, features I didn't think would be supported are on this adapter. Cool! Ok, so before purchasing the adapter, I asked if this adapter was supported by the ZeeBooth Fire Cube. Of course, someone who probably doesn't even own one of these adapters said NO, it won't work. Well I'm here to tell you that he is misinformed and completely wrong. First I plugged it into my original Fire Cube as it natively has a USB A port and instantly my headsets came to life with audio. Next I dug out my Micro USB to USB adapter and popped it into my Kindle Fire. Again, instant audio. Fire Cube (1st & 2nd Edition) - Yup! Even my Fire Stick with a special adapter. Apparently ZeeBooth really has their stuff together. It sees this as a generic audio device and starts outputting on it immediately. YES IT DOES TURN OFF AUDIO COMING THROUGH HDMI just like it does if you pair a Bluetooth device directly to the Fire device. The only difference here is that I can have 2 headsets connected to this adapter while all of the Fire devices, my phone, and laptop will only allow one headset to be connected at a time. It works, it's reliable, it's super easy to setup. Just buy it! FYI, I did't give a star rating to Tech Support because I had no need to contact Tech Support (so there!)
