love the additional pockets

I have given this binder a run for my money. I have opened, closed, pulled, tugged, etc. and so far so good. My kids used to come home from school after a couple of months talking about needing new binders. I definitely think this one would outlast any regular binder for a good price!! Once it starts to fall apart, Ill try to update.

Its a nice 1 D-ring binder and seems fairly durable for a binder. What really sets it apart from other Avery binders is (1) that it has 2 plastic pockets affixed to each inner side rather than just one on each side and (2) the lever to open the rings. A single plastic-covered lever at the bottom allows for easy opening (and closing) of the metal rings. Most standard binders have 2 metal tabs on either end that you need to use 2 hands to press simultaneously in order to open the rings; sometimes the back edges of the metal may not be entirely smooth which can scratch your bookshelf (that has happened many times to me), and sometimes its not super easy to open them. In contrast, this binder does reign supreme with an easier, more comfortable way to open/close the rings and less chance of scratching your bookcase. That said, Im unsure if this added convenience is worth the significant price difference between this binder and a standard binder unless you only have one working hand/arm. I like the binder, but am not a fan of the price.
