Only worked the first time

It worked great at the beginning. I tried using it a week later and I have to get 1ft closer in order for it to barely work. It dials a button several times and stops working. I can't submit my password because of it. The manual doesn't indicate anything about the blinking lights and now I have to deal with the return process. It has become a nuisance.

Works well and easy to install

This works as advertised. We use it to navigate our smart tv. Simple to use. The backlit keyboard is great for use in dim lighting but loses a star since it does not remember the setting from each use and has to be lit again. Overall, I would buy it again.

Great device, read review for flashing orange light fix

I just got this device and after plugging the dongle into my Xbox, the mini keyboard began working right away. It is thin and light and uses a standard replaceable lithium battery. It also seems to have quite a few keys and functions dedicated to use with a PC (which I cannot test with an Xbox). When I attempted to turn on the backlight, I unintentionally put the device into pairing mode and could not figure out how to turn it off or re-pair with the dongle. After some searching and watching a YouTube video that did not quite work for me, I saw a comment that led me to the solution. To fix the flashing orange light issue: 1. Insert the USB dongle into the device you want to control. 2. With the mini keyboard right next to the USB dongle, press Fn + F1. This should cause the keyboard and dongle to re-pair and the orange light should stop flash and only appear when you type on the mini keyboard as a signal indicator. Apparently, the mini keyboard and dongle need to be much closer when pairing than than I realized. I really hope this helps you!

The coolest thing since............

I got tired of laying down and getting back up to change a show or movie, since i watch tv/shows and all on my PC.......since i bought this i can do everything on this gadget!!!! mouse and keyboard are most comfy but this is a close second!!!! great for mouse carpal tunnel as well!! hold it like a controller. The mouse pad works perfectly! for 11 bucks, just get it! you wont be disappointed......dont listen to the complaints about it not working right. i get it, if its defective, sure, just return it! But this is a plug and play keyboard, i didnt need to do anything extra, plug it in, go! It has auto shut off so you dont waste your battery. Just hit any key when you wanna use it, wait about 2 seconds then use it. There is very basic instructions on some functions like FN+F2 to change the back light color. Its pretty simple, so people asking for crazy instructions, i just dont get it. its a simple keyboard!!! I will say, its NOT a gaming controller, it doesnt claim to be. For a mini multimedia keyboard, i've had no problem with it!

Great little remote for a PC

This mini keyboard/mouse combo is fantastic! I wish I'd found something like it a couple of years ago. I'm using it with a Linux PC that I setup for streaming video on the living room TV and it was 100% plug and play, no setup required. For the past couple of years I've been using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to control the PC from the couch which can be somewhat cumbersome, not to mention my wife complaining about how much space they take up just sitting around the living room since a full-size keyboard doesnt fit in our remote basket. Enter this little device. It's small enough to fit in the remote basket, has all the keyboard buttons you'd need for controlling a PC used for media, a mouse pad, and also some nice shortcut forward and back keys that work perfectly with VLC player to quickly navigate through video files. The only minor drawbacks I've found with it are: 1) The back cover where the wireless adapter is stored is hard to get off, and while trying to open it I discovered the plastic housing is rather flimsy, but since you only really need to access it once, it's not a big deal. 2) There's no shift button on the right hand side of the mini keyboard. Having said that, even if this thing only lasts a year, for $11 it's still a 5-star product.
