I love this one, but Eye Doctor is also using and he found It is doing really good.

Very bitter and will go back to taking the pills! However, it works great! I noticed an immediate effect on my digestion. The reason for my 3 stars only is that when emptying the packet into a jar, there was a piece of plastic in it. I have not idea what it's from but it came out of the package. UPDATE: I have to admit I like this stuff. Not for the taste but I've gotten used to it. The benefit outweighs the negative taste. I poured all into a mason jar and keep it on my kitchen sink. In the morning, I put 1/2 tsp in a mug of hot water, add a slice of lemon and honey. I drink it in the morning because this stuff gives me lots of energy throughout the day. I noticed it immediately in addition to aiding my digestion. I notice the effects more readily than the gelatin caps I assume because it gets into the bloodstream so fast. I'd be afraid of taking it at bedtime, but I suppose it depends on the individual. It just seems like it gets me going. So I may purchase this again over the capsules. It just takes some getting used to. When I took capsules from another brand (BRI), I lost weight and it worked for me. It doesn't make you shaky, or anything like those diet drugs used to do. It's just a natural feeling of being "younger" to me. And I know it's not bad for me, So I'll take it.

Are you one of those people like me whose body is naturally very hot and dry inside? That can make you very constipated and sluggish because even when you have bm's, you are not eliminating completely. Other stuff I've taken hurts my stomach and I get "cleansed" by getting sick with diarrhea(not good!) How I can best describe triphala's effect on me is when I do go to the bathroom, it feels like I have a complete and very gentle cleansing. I literally feel detoxed. It is like an inner, natural beauty treatment. I also feel more clear-headed and calm. There are so many impurities in the take-out and processed foods we eat(lots of oil, salt, sugar) and you don't want poisons circulating in your system. *I ended up taking this with neocell collagen powder in orange flavor just to make the triphala taste better. I heat water in a jumbo mug and then stir in a quarter teaspoon of triphala(I use a measuring spoon to get a leveled amount, not healing) and one scoop of neocell. Then I sit and listen to my devotional and pretend it's one big tea, sipping slow. Triphala by itself is a great health and beauty boost. It cleanses/detoxes, cools your whole body inside, makes your regular, amla is great for your hair and full of vitamin c, and is great for your skin. Overall a great general tonic. You can take the tablets also but I think it gets digested better when you sip it slowly. I would recommend skipping this product on days when your stomach hurts, feels sensitive, have your period, or you have loose motions already. Do not use it if your stomach is aggravated in any way. Oh and one important thing- I tried taking a full teaspoon of this on a few occasions figuring the more you take, the more cleansed you will be. Wrong! I got a dizzying headache and ended up sick. Somewhere on the internet, I read that this product can blood sugar and lowers blood pressure. Not what happens to me but I definitely cannot take more than 1/4 tsp. without getting very ill. (It was night time and I felt like I would go unconscious, I was so scared to sleep. That's how sick I felt.) Please be very careful in deciding to take this product and the dosage. Ask your doctor if it's ok to take. Always take the lowest dose possible dose that you need, whether it be vitamins, prescription drugs, or in this case herbal stuff. I find natural remedies usually do unaccounted for stuff like lower your blood pressure, too so I would recommend any vites or supplements you start new do it in the morning when you're fresh and alert and not too busy so you can notice any side effects.
