Got it for a Raspberry pi Start UP Project .... was recommended to have the corded mouse and keyboard. THIS is really nice operates right with plugging it in ..... GREAT Quality ..... REALLY nice size . AND a great price . . . . . . I will get another just to have a spare .......

Just unpacked it. It is more narrow than a typical, basic keyboard and about 2" shorter in length. If you have large hands or fingers you may not want it. For children or adults with normal to small hands it's fine. I wanted a back up keyboard for spills so I am prepared. I do like the added keys at the top for home, email, volume, etc. Stand on the back to rise it 1". Mouse is actually more comfortable than the Logitech basic mouse. You get a great combo pack for the price. Hope it lasts. Will write back if it does not.

I bought this keyboard+mouse combo for friend who I was fixing a computer for. I didn't want to spend much, but I wanted to get something decent. I was attracted to the price and reasonable number of reviews (I have trouble with review credibility, especially when there are a ridiculous number of reviews).\\ I'm going to leave those backslashes ('\') because they are one of the biggest complaints I have. I type fast all day long and I expect the keys to be where there are on most keyboards. The Enter key should be horizontal, at least and the pipe ('|') / backslash ('\') key should be to the right of the right bracket key. I expect the Insert, Delete, Home, End, PgUp, and PgDn keys to be arranged in a 2x3 (HxW) arrangement with the Del key on the bottom left. Instead, the pipe/backslash key is between the quote and Enter keys and ends up as collateral damage most of the time when I go to hit the Enter key. This all seems to be an effort to make the keyboard a little more narrow. But, as a Linux user, I'm on the CLI all day long and I need my Enter and pipe/backslash key to be where they belong (and the Del, Home, End, and PgUp/PgDn keys. Could I get used to them? Maybe. And, then I wouldn't be able to type on the vastly more common keyboard layout. If this keyboard was for me, I would send it back. The tactile feedback on the keyboard is good. It's normal and what I would expect. I say that coming from a gaming keyboard that I bought and, frustratingly, has no tactile feedback. Although I will miss the tactile feedback, I'm going back to that gaming keyboard after I write this review. The keyboard has no rubber feet. So, as I type, it's sliding all over the place. I wonder if it will improve my ergonomics forcing me to type directly downward instead of at an angle? I won't be trying it long enough to find out. The mouse is a standard optical mouse. I ran it on a mouse pad and it worked as expected. I would be happy to use the mouse, including the middle-click by clicking the scroll wheel (again, commonly used with my Linux SSH terminals). If you don't care about those keys that I mentioned and if you have a traction solution for the keyboard (maybe rubber cement on the hard plastic feed or a rubber mat under the keyboard?), then it's a good value and you would probably like this keyboard. Personally, I would expect that anyone who can type correctly would inadvertently hit the pipe/backslash key often when aiming for the Enter key. Otherwise, I'll know to watch for these things in my future cheap keyboard purchases. :)
