Despite my initial skepticism and lack of specific expectations, the bead spinner turned out to be a fascinating addition to my jewelry making and beading toolkit. I work a lot with delicas and seed beads, but I don't often string them because I find it so tedious. This bead spinner has solved that problem! It's really simple with very few parts and that makes it really easy to understand and use. It took me a few tries to start getting it going, but once I got the hang of it, the stringing was so fast. It would be great strining beads onto yarn for knitting, for bead crochet, and for different strung ropes. I'm really happy I finally got one!

First, I did not realize, and do not know how I missed, the fact that this bead spinner came with 2 needles, it is even in the description, but I did! Somehow, I missed that and didn't see any in the box. So, I went and bought some. Then when I went to go use it, finally, I opened the lid of the bowl and oops! there were two needles in there! So, you do not need to buy any, this set comes with not 1, but 2! I am a Master Crafter, and jewelry maker, and have been using beads and such for 20 plus years. I have never tried a bead spinner, though, because: 1) I didn't think it would actually work, and 2) I do not use seed beads a lot. I should have tried one of these a long time ago because it really works nicely! Makes stringing beads a breeze! I tried stringing with the enclosed curved needles, and this worked the best. I also tried stringing beads with a straight beading needle, and this works, but not as well, for me anyway. It will also work using just wire, if you curve it a bit. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of it, but I was pleasantly surprised and how fast this made stringing beads. Also, you can use it with bigger beads, not just seed beads, although it really works well for them.

Baltese has a Christmas gift for my daughter. She seems to like it a lot. Makes it so much easier to to make bracelets.
