It seems to do great on the small tube beads, but it can't crimp the cover beads at all. Looks like I will need the Mighty version as well.

This Beadalon crimper is excellent. It is easier to use than other brands which enables the user to make a perfect crimp every time. Most Beaders know it's miserable not to have a great crimp because it can be hard, if not impossible, to recover. This tool allows the Beader to finish off the project professionally.

Works great. I had originally avoided purchasing a crimping tool and was using a pair of pliers. That does not work properly. What a difference when I started using this tool. Crimp tunes actually look secure and professional rather than being a flat and sharp little piece of metal. Good value tool. Would purchase again!

I ordered this tool for my mother who taught me how to string jewelry back in 2006. The difference between us is she used heavier wire and beads in her style. She recently wanted to learn how to make jewelry in the micro style that I do using finer flexible stringing wired, micro crimps, and, of course, I micro crimping tool. The Beadalon micro crimper arrived today. My Mom came over so I could demonstrated how to use the tool with my beading wire and a micro crimp. She was thrilled with the neat outcome. Turns out she had simply been smashing crimps with her regular crimper and was frustrated with her crimps failing to hold up or look so neat and round like mine do. The Beadalon micro crimper is an excellent tool and I highly recommend it.
