If you have never used collagen before, be aware that even if you get unflavored there is still usually a "gelatin" flavor when mixed with plain water. If you mix in some water enhancer drops, it will taste like liquid jello. This product, to me, has a much less gelatiny taste than others I have used. I can drink it straight but you can also add it into stronger flavored drinks like coffee, mochas, smoothies, etc to better disguise the taste. I am well acquainted with collagen and have no issues with this product. It mixes well (I use a mini mixer) with water and leaves some sediment after it settles. Now, unlike other unflavored collagen I have used, this one is not clear. It has a pink tint which looks like it is flavored. I have not tried to add to food yet but would expect it to mix in just as well. I really appreciate this comes from organic pasture raised, grass fed cows. The scoop has such a long handle you have to stick it upside down into the powder to get it to fit when the container is full. I personally prefer the shorter handled scoops. I use this as one scoop per day so for 30 servings this is a pretty good deal (50cents a serving).

I love that this powder contains hyaluronic acid and grape seed extract, which are great for anti-aging. Also, there's Vitamin C which is needed for the collagen to be absorbed (without vitamin C, the body cannot produce or maintain healthy collagen levels). I haven't noticed a difference yet, but I know that it will take time. The price is amazing too for the quantity. That said, I've tried a lot of different collagen powders and this one have given me the most trouble when mixing into my morning coffee! It often takes me 5-10 minutes to get it fully dissolved (especially with cold brew); there are always clumps. Also, it leaves a nasty film on my glass cups and mugs, which is a pain to remove (I have to let them soak to loosen it up). I won't be purchasing this one again.

I think these two products work and taste good together and will use them together going forward.

The taste is supposed to be unflavored but it does alter the taste of the liquid you put it in. However, I can tell the difference in my joint pains and discomfort already after three days. I put it in juice or a flavored lemonade (2 scoops) in the morning. It will clump up so stir until desolved as good as it can get. Initially bought for skin enhancement but will take all benefits.
