This supplement contains both type I and type IIII collagen. I started taking biotin and collagen supplements when I suffered postpartum hair loss with my last child. I noticed an improvement to both my hair and skin as a result. Biotin can interfere with some lab tests, but there are no such concerns with collagen. This collagen is derived naturally from animal based gelatin (Bovine). These supplements are powder-filled capsules which can be opened and taken with food/drink for those who cannot swallow pills.

So far Im happy with this collagen peptide supplement. It arrived quickly and well packaged. The capsules are standard size capsules and easy to swallow. Theres no discernible taste or odor. They dont bother my stomach. I just think its a great way to get a little extra collagen boost especially as I get older!

As a gal in my 40's now, I've been noticing finer lines around my eyes and such. I really wanted to try this out for a few weeks to see if this would make a difference at all. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much of anything, if at all...even after almost a month. I like the ingredients it lists, and I also like the fact that they are non-GMO. It's a really good combination of ingredients that are very supportive and anti-aging, and it may just be that it's the kind of supplement that takes a couple of months to really start to see results. The capsules are large, and while there are 60 in the bottle, you take 2 daily...so it's a 30 day supply. I took the recommended dose. The capsules are kinda big, but I didn't have any problem swallowing them. I have to be careful with some supplements like this, as I can get nasty "vitamin burps" with lower quality ones. I did not experience that with these, so that's a big plus in my book. I didn't notice any kind of digestive issues, either. Overall, this is just one of those things where YMMV. While I didn't see results, others certainly might, and they DO appear to be of decent quality. I wish I could say I saw a difference, but...oh well. Maybe I might look into giving it another whirl a few years down the road when I get even more wrinkles, or when the ones I have are more prominent.
