Not used to this strong scent

Im not used to taking propolis so this was too potent for me. Im going to order another one with more milder flavor so it doesnt smell too strong.

Being around many people daily at work, I try to take supplements to keep myself healthy. No one likes being sick and when you come into contact with so many germs daily, you need something to make sure you stay healthy. The Bee & You Propolis liquid extract works to do just this. Upon opening the bottle, a very strong smell was noticed. Seeing as this product contains grain alcohol, it is important to know this, especially if you are in recovery. You may not want to use this prior to work either so no one smells alcohol on your breath. This is made with honey, which is beneficial to the throat. This product can be taken in many ways, but I found putting it directly on food was the easiest way to take it. If you want a boost to your immunity, try this!

Great product

I have been using Bee & You products for a couple of years now, and I have been very happy with them. I know that there is another (very well marketed) company out there also selling propolis, but Bee & Yous is better. For starters, if you didnt know, propolis is a substance that bees produce and then line the hives with to help maintain community health. Propolis has antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties. Its medicinal! Bee & Yous drops & sprays contain more propolis than that other brand (approx 6% for them) vs (I believe 20% for B & Ys spray) and less sugar (honey) and you can really taste it. This product is 50% propolis, the highest concentration Ive seen sold for human consumption. Two drops under my tongue in the morning, Im good to go. I havent had a cold or flu since 2019, and I believe propolis is part of the reason why. Recently, I got cut during work (when you work in F & B, you need to do multiple layers of protection if you get cut. All those bandages, cots, gloves, etc., do a great job of trapping in moisture and liquids, and food, so cuts can get infected fairly easily), I happened to have these drops with me so I put a couple drops on the wound after cleaning it and bandaged up. This time, NO INFECTION and it was completely healed 2 days faster than usual (Im pretty sure the little boost of glucose from the honey helped in the healing process). I love this stuff!

Honey is good for you though, right?

I read the ingredients but didnt think the food grade grain alcohol was going to be quite so strong. I thought maybe the punch you get from products like NyQuil. I tried just a drop on my finger and was worried about driving if I used he full 20 drops or up to 80. After that snippet, I have yet to muster up the courage to go all in even in the name of good health and immunity. Thinking the immunity might be a side effect of no one wanting to be near you because you smell like a distillery. Cant get sick if youre not around other people. but honey is good for ya.
