It's promising...

While I may need to take this longer and then have my labs checked to access it's effectiveness, at least I have not experienced any negative side effects. Excellent product

I've been using this brand of Berberine since February and am very happy with its quality and cost. It has been my experience that it has improved my tendency toward insulin resistance and helped me control my appetite and cravings for sweets. Your results may vary. It's easy to swallow and does not upset my stomach when taken without food. I also find it reasonably priced.

Detox process uncomfortable but 1000% worth the results

After learning about Berberine's gut detox potential, I decided to give this a try. I started it along with a change to a pre and probiotic rich diet to ensure as I removing bad bacteria, I was supporting and encouraging good/healthy bacteria at the same time. The first few days were very uncomfortable as your body has to go through the process of killing bad bacteria and the bacteria will release toxins (causing stomach cramping and temporary increased bloating) as they die. I also pooped 4-5 times per day the first few days, 2-3 times per day the few days following, and then about a few days after that I returned to normal daily. While I did not do this for weight loss, my daughter commented after about 2 weeks that I looked "skinnier". I am about a month into it and feel so much better, more energetic, mentally sharper and my bloating is gone. If you are willing to go through the detox process, I highly recommend this.
