Almost perfect - a bit thin, extender not flat

This is a cute set of sock blockers. For the cost, they are a good value. However, I can see one or two of the breaking over time when a sock with true negative ease was put on them for blocking. I took one star off for the extender option not really laying flat. I put my size 8.5 shoe in for scale - all of the blockers are just about that size. So they may not work for folks with shorter or larger feet. But all in all, a fun set for a good price!

Sock Display

These blockers are great when finishing hand knit socks. One even is size adjustable from 9.5 inches to about 12 for foot base. They help shape the finished sock but really, after everything your foot or whoever you knitted it for does the best shaping. These are great for showcasing a pattern, or lace socks. They really help for photos if you want to Insta or Facebook them. Very Happy Enjoy

Snags

These are very cute and even though they are thin I don't think that's too big of an issue. I'm more worried about the fact that they are made of unfinished food. The edges snag fibers, and when most handmade socks are made from wool blends, that can RUIN a project.

Poor quality

Reviewing Bins & Things Wood Sock Blockers for Knitting, Set of 6 - Natural Wood Socks Shaper - Crochet Socks Blocker I bought these because I was hoping to have more sock blockers as I knit socks two at a time. When they arrived, I was concerned at how thin they are that they would not hold up too much use at all. And then I realized how rough the edges are, and knew immediately that they would snag on everything. I did try them for blocking, especially the extendable ones because I thought that was a really neat function. But because you have to block socks when they are damp, cause these very thin wood pieces to warp. And several of the teeth of the extenders broke off almost immediately when putting the socks on them. This is a great idea, but very, very poorly executed. The wood needs to be thicker and the edges need to be smoother. I may use them as a template to make my own, but I would never buy these again.

Super thin

These were incredibly thin, and the edges feel jagged, which seems like it would be murder on any wool socks I try to put on them, so much so that I wasn't even willing to risk my sock WIP. The expandable one was so weird, and it doesn't fit when you try to extend it. Also, the extended piece just falls off, so how are you supposed to store it? It's so easily lost. Plus, I doubt anyone has feet that long, so it seemed silly. I gave it two stars for the cute designs on the other two, but I don't really intend to use it given the construction.
