Good, not great

I applied the COCODE Black Aquarium Background to the back of my 2.5-gallon aquarium. Initially, it looked quite nice, providing a sharp and uniform black backdrop. The static cling feature meant no mess with adhesives, which was a plus. However, getting rid of the bubbles during application proved challenging, and despite my best efforts, some bubbling persisted. Over time, additional bubbles developed, affecting the clean look I was aiming for. Pros: Easy Application: Static cling eliminates the need for messy adhesives, making application straightforward. Aesthetic Appeal: The black background can enhance the visual appeal of the aquarium and highlight its contents. Cons: Difficult to Remove Bubbles: Getting rid of air bubbles during application is difficult, and bubbles can form more over time. Long-Term Adhesion Issues: Additional bubbling develops as time goes on, which detracts from the initial smooth appearance.

Bad shipping

The product is delicate, and the current packaging method, which involves shipping it in a small paper envelope, causes the background to become crumpled and visually unappealing. Despite my efforts to rectify the issue, the damage is irreparable.

No instructions

Now that my tank is set up u cnt even see the bubbles in it. This was a completely clear tank till I put this on the back Not sure if I was supposed to spray water before applying cuz I cnt for the life of me get all the bubbles out. There was no instructions with this. It looks great though, just wish it had no bubbles all in it.

Just as described

Not sure how well you can see in my pics, but there are still a lot of air bubbles. I did the soapy water, and used a card to scrape it flat, but the bubbles wont come out. Even still it might be something I did wrong, so not taking a star off for that. It does seem to be high quality material and it is clinging to the back. I think from a distance you cant see the bubbles much. If, over time, it falls off or deteriorates, I will update my review. How I rate: 5 Stars = Excellent. Surprised me/exceeded my hopes. 4 Stars = Very good. Exactly what I hoped for. 3 Stars = Satisfactory. If there are problems, they are minor/acceptable. 2 Stars = Not good for me. Cons outweigh the pros. Might work for others, be wary. 1 Stars = Terrible. Doubt it would work for anyone.

Wish it was bigger for rimless tanks

I was looking for a black film for a rimless tank but this is not tall enough. Other than that, it installs easily and seems to be good film material.
