This 5/8" navy blue velvet ribbon will be a true asset in your craft arsenal. You can use it to: 1. Wrap gifts and tie gift bags; 2. Depending upon the color season, and impending holiday, to fabricate and decorate door wreaths; 3. If making jewelry: to fabricate necklaces, bracelets, and anklets; and 4. For the sewist: to decorate bags and knapsacks, and as a drawstring at the top of same, among other projects. This will be my first, and likely dominant, use. Its strong, sturdy, and substantial even at this width. As others have commented, it feels more like suede than velvet heightening its appeal, in my opinion. Finally, it cuts easily and evenly.

I ordered this ribbon mostly because I know I need it for Christmas decorating and gifting but I love the ivory color as just a neutral for anything you might need a ribbon for. The price point is great for the amount of yardage that you receive and the ivory color is beautiful in person. I honestly just like having a variety of colors of velvet ribbon to keep on hand for gifts & crafting and this one is just perfect for that! Highly recommend!

I got this ribbon to wrap the stems of my wedding bouquets and it is so beautiful. The ribbon is the perfect terracotta/burnt orange color. It is also extremely soft velvet. I was surprised with how soft it was. The roll is pretty big and I think it is totally worth the price.

I like this ribbon. It's double-face, meaning the fuzzy bits are on both sides of the ribbon, which makes bow-tying super easy and looks great. My only complaint (and it's so so small) is that the edges of the ribbon (the "long sides" aka selvedge) isn't more finished. It almost looks like this is cut--that's how far the nap goes to the edge. I prefer a velvet ribbon with a little more 'edge' to it. I know, really splitting hairs here on the review, but overall it's a nice velvet ribbon. The Camel color I ordered is more of an ecru than camel, but it's a nice oyster-y/antique white/off cream. Great for nearly any gift wrapping color.

The ribbon is so soft and looks high quality. Both sides of the ribbon are equally nice. The edges aren't rough, so if you are wanting trim for a dress/coat/etc for a person with texture issues, this is perfect. I ordered this to use on a gothic babydoll style dress and I love it!
