**TLDR Pros/Cons at the bottom of this review** I deal with hormonal and cystic acne and have a hard time leaving spots alone. After numerous attempts at skin care regimens, hydrocolloid patches have become one of my favorite tools to at least cut down on picking urges and help with overnight absorption. I've only tried one other brand of microneedle patches, but the Evanish Skincare Blemish Repair - Targeted Treatment Microneedling Patches seem better quality. There's only a tiny sensation of pricks as you press the patch on for the recommended 10-15 seconds. After that, I hardly noticed them. My first use I placed one on a stubborn under chin cystic raised bump that's been there for a while. The next morning, oils had absorbed in a tiny dot pattern within the patch, but not too much size reduction. The next night I placed a patch on the same spot, as well as over a bit of redness I had tried a different brand's dark spot patch for to see if the microneedle patch would improve it. The patches held on well and pulled more oil overnight. There might be a slight reduction in inflammation for the cystic spot under my chin, honestly not too sure if the Evanish made a difference on the redness in the second location. Some residue seems to remain after removal (see photo). If you have infrequent breakouts, these could be a good option to try. They absorb some gunk and may help keep some spots from evolving, but at the non sale price point, I don't think I could fit them into my budget with the amount of patches I'd need on hand. **Please note that Evanish recommends their Blemish Repair Invisible patches of your acne has developed a white head instead of these under the surface intended microneedle patches.** Pros: -adhere well, fairly stealthy, needles don't cause discomfort other than tiny prick feeling when applied -absorb decent amount overnight -easy to remove from backing without wrinkling/damaging the product (a HUGE plus compared to other brands that don't slit the backing) -helpfl ingredients that don't cause my sensitive skin to react Cons: -non sale price is high for only nine patches, making them not sustainable budget wise if you experience frequent breakouts -instructions say best results come from at least two wears, I maybe noticed a very slight reduction in inflammation after two nights -patch residue doesn't seem to fully come for when removing in the AM

Used this patches on my acne and it didn't work for me. The acne remained the same the next day.

These patches are AMAZING. After already being obsessed with the original Evanish pimple patches, these are next level. From the moment you put it on, you can feel the needling. These work so well and by next day, my pimple was GONE. So comfortable to wear - you dont even notice! And I love the packaging they come in with resealable container. Love that this company is US based and women owned.

I really wanted to try these microneedling patches. I kept them on overnight and hours before. They did nothing. They barely stuck onto my skin and didn't do anything. I was ready to give these another try so I did and they still didn't do anything. After trying them I just went with my other patches from another brand that clear up my blemishes over night since these were just wasting my time. Considering it's only 9 patches that don't seem to work properly I am very disappointed.

I have used regular hydrocolloid dots for years, saving the micro needle type for the really cystic, underground pimples. Microdarts send medicine down through unbroken skin to deep cysts, and usually that's good enough to reduce or even wholly prevent the zit from turning into a huge surface boil. The dots with this brand are JUMBO size, probably twice as big as other microdart patches I've used before. That's a good feature because the hard underground blemishes are usually big and sometimes it's a little hard to tell exactly where the center is. Adhesion is good enough for overnight. Note for makeup wearers: these dots make your skin take foundation and powder 'differently' and it is noticeable. Plan to remove the dots, clean your face, and allow time for your skin to rebound a little before proceeding with your makeup routine. One star off is for the value. Twenty bucks for just nine patches is more than other microdart brands I've bought. Might be worth it for the jumbo size of the dots though.
