Bluegrass Soy Sauce - 100 ml...

Ive never heard of this until I was watching jet Tila Tila the other day and decided to make a crispy Hong Kong style chicken chow mein dish. He used a bourbon barrel aged soy so I was curious so I got this to try. I think they are expensive but it is aged in bourbon barrels, and the flavor is phenomenal! Also, you use very little or it could possibly be too overpowering. I mixed this with a little bit of regular lighter soy sauce when it came to the cooking sauce, but when it came to the chicken marinade, I just used this. So much flavor! It came very nicely bubble wrapped, perfectly protected. I also recently got a dark soy sauce. This is all becoming my new obsession lol and this one is also made in the U.S.A. Yummy!

Very tasty soy sauce and dont need much. Bit expensive. Bottle cap and mouth tend to cake up some and not pour well for small amounts.

Rich, full of flavor! I love this soy sauce. The fact that it's handcrafted in the US is even better. The bottle arrive in perfect condition. Each bottle is numbered too. This one's for me, but I'll be buying more as gifts.

This soy sauce is a phenomenal accompaniment to just about anything that would benefit from a touch of umami with smoky depth. The complexity lends itself most effectively to simple dishes where its distinct notes can feature prominently and shine, but do not discount its value as a sort of "secret ingredient" to contribute a touch of je ne sais quoi in unexpected places. I find it works particularly well on continental dishes that feature mushrooms or autumn vegetables. Please bear in mind, like a fine olive oil or balsamic vinegar, this is much more a condiment than a cooking ingredient.

I tried this and it's good, but for the price, won't buy a second bottle. Far too expensive given the contents.
