As far as value, these are 6 blade bananas instead of the average 4 and have 2 wire retention screws per plug. Good reasons to buy these. Some people wrote that these had machining problems that made them not screw properly. Out of 54 plugs, I had 1 with an outer sleeve that wouldn't unscrew from the inner pin, 1 where the outer sleeve was rough unscrewing, and 1 wire retention screw that installed fine but when removing, the screw turned wrong (it felt like it was bent). So 2 our of 54, about 4% error rate isn't great or terrible. I think it's worth the risk for the value since you can return anything bad

Amazing

Works like any other banana plug.

Takes some effort to install but great in the end

Some I had to use 2 locking plyers just to get the to be removed to start the install. Some would not screw in all the way or were loose. However this will probably be the case with any of similar type you buy. Just remember if the two metal ones touch, pos and neg, you could send short back to your receiver, as I did. Some I see come with a rubber round band bumper to avoid this but anything to keep them separated works.

Good quality connectors

They look nice, are easy to use, and form solid contact with the wire and the plug. That's about as much as you can ask for.

Why only three sets in a pack?

I picked these connectors up when I was installing our outdoor speakers in my pavilion. I knew I would need 8 pairs, and still confused as to why they would be sold in packs of 6. Well, I have extras, or have more available just in case I lose one of the tiny screws that hold the wires in place. I am happy with the construction of these plugs, and they make for a tight fit and solid signal to the speakers. I will be utilizing the last four when I install inputs on the rack frame so that I don't have to reach under the rack to get to the amplifier every time.
