Bought this for my harley davidson for my aftermarket speakers, i wanted a better access instead of reaching the speaker i can control them from this.

Worked great until it didnt. The buttons stopped controlling music and volume. Tried unpairing and repairing. Even tried it with another phone. all the same results.

I wanted to use this on a motorcycle to see how well it worked. About 10 hours of riding so far without needing recharging. It pairs with my phone in about a second and doesn't appear to disconnect or reconnects seamlessly so I have no issues with waiting for it to communicate with my phone if I haven't used it in a long period. Will have to wait and see how long it lasts.

Don't let my 3 stars scare you off. I took one off for slow shipping. One off for Horrible Band Design. SEE THE PICTURES. Only thing that holds it on is the two little tabs that stick through the holes. You cannot trust that it stays hook on. I tried it on my Truck, Car, Boat and lawnmower. I just loop a rubber band around the bottom to holp it on for extra security. I have a 7-year-old cheap Samsung cell phone. However, everything on this button remote works fine. I could fast forward to next song, I could reverse to the last song played. You can turn the volume up or down. if you press the phone icon you can answer the phone press again you can hang it up. I think it is a great product except the band is garbage. It should work on most phones. ?

I got this to use in my truck because the steering wheel controls are for the radio itself, but I play my phone through an auxiliary adapter. That adapter will control the phone audio, but its on the far side of the command center for the truck, so not convenient. What I had hoped was that this would allow me to control the track and volume for the phone itself, right next to the controls I already have for the volume on the radio. That is important to me because I sometimes have the volume on my phone turned way down and dont remember to turn it back up when I get in the truck, in which case, full volume on the trucks radio doesnt do much. This remote handled all that I wanted and did it perfectly. The setup was as easy as any Bluetooth connection, or actually easier than some. The strap that attaches this stretches just enough so that when you hook it to itself, it snaps back enough to create a firm hold around the steering wheel. Im thrilled that I can finally change tracks without having to look at my phone, which is illegal in certain circumstances where I live. But Im now back to true hands-free playlists. While I generally dont use my phone as a phone, its really nice that the functionality to answer calls is also available through this remote. It seems to have a good charge life. I havent used it every day since getting it a month ago, Ive only had to recharge it once. The design and layout of the buttons on this are really intuitive, to me, so that I havent had to hunt for the right key most of the time. So, for me, this was easy to use right out of the box.
