Hooked up to my computer to play music throughout the house, originally I was debating on just hard wiring everything... but, sense the two are bluetooth, I wanted to try to use something like this. Line out from the laptop into the "Aux TX Input" and got it linked the STR-DH190 and Vizio S2121w - both play without the echo gap that the samsung s21 ultra was doing. The volume on the transmitter works well on the Sony but not the Vizio (Soundbar), the pause/play (mute) button works well. I would treat it more as a ronco item, set it and forget it. Once things have been paired and set up, the next time you turn everything on, it reconnects faster and easier then the initial launch. If your casting bluetooth music to multiple rooms, give it a go. It works well, and the quality/ distance is decent. (in my case, the Sony is only 4.2 so I can't judge the newer BT levels for quality, it is not the transmitter holding it back, but the receiver.)

I purchased this Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver to provide connection for my Bluetooth headphones to an old Toshiba HDTV that has no wire audio cable output connector, but which does have a fiber optic cable audio output. I connected the Transmitter Receiver to the TV using the fiber optic cable. I use a USB C to USB A cable, with an inexpensive 120V AC to 5V DC power adapter to power the device. Following the installation and use instructions, my Lenovo Bluetooth headphones pair up with the Bluetooth Transmitter fairly quickly. The display on the device is easy to see, and it helps greatly in the pairing function. I am then able to mute the TV speakers volume or set it to whatever level other viewers may desire, and I can adjust the TV volume on my headphones to my needs. I have used the headphones connected to the TV via the Bluetooth Transmitter, and I have walked into other rooms in our residence, up to 30 feet away, with three walls between the transmitter and the headphones. The connection remains solid, and the sound quality is unaffected under those conditions. When viewing various programs, usually sporting events or news broadcasts, I do not notice any distracting lag between the sound and the picture on the TV. I have not tried simultaneously pairing more than one device to the transmitter, so I can't report on that capability. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and function of this Bluetooth Receiver Transmitter. It seems to be very well built, with high quality components, and I would certainly recommend it.

Bought this for my Dad to use with his office laptop which doesn't allow BT connections to any device. He wants to use his BT headphones for calls. So he connects these to the audio out port on his laptop and then connects it to his BT headphones. Problem solved and very well. He is very happy with connectivity speed - usually 15-20 seconds for a new device and 5 seconds or so for any already paired one. Volume and clarity is very good and people have no issues understanding him either. Range is about 30 feet which works for him as he likes to stroll when on calls. There is a charging cable included which he plugs in into the USB port of his laptop when needed. Seems these easily work for at least 4 hours of calls without dying off. He is only using these as a transmitter, so not sure about performance in Rx mode. The only concern he has, which you can see in the picture as well, is that plugging in the USB cable for charging is a little awkward if the USB port on your laptop (assuming the same use case) is close to the 3.5mm audio port. He is also concerned that the thingy to plug this into the audio port is pretty long and might break if he accidentally hits the device when it is plugged in. I am not worried since he is a careful guy but someone like me can make that happen! However, the build quality does look and feel solid. Apart from these minor concerns, this device is a winner, Go for it if you need to bring one of your stone age devices to the BT age!
