Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver for TV, Bluetooth Receiver for Home Stereo with RCA 3.5mm AUX & Display, Music Audio Adapter for Headphones/Speaker...

I got this to enable Bluetooth audio on an older Visio "smart" TV, primarily for Blu-ray viewing and XBox gaming in private. This seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. It took five minutes to unbox, setup and begin listening. Couldn't be easier. My TV audio out connected to the device via the supplied converter cable (red/white RCA jacks to a single stereo mini-jack on the device). Here's the thing to remember: The RCA and mini jacks on the device are used as INPUT when it's in TX (transmission) mode. These same jacks become OUTPUT when the device is switched to RX (receiver) mode. My Bluetooth headphones paired up quickly and the signal seems strong. One complaint is that volume is controlled only from this device, not the source or the receiving end. Only Real Negative Note: There is no ON/OFF switch, so when not in use, because the unit is always on, it is constantly attempting to pair with something. The only way to stop it is to unplug the USB power cord. Otherwise, very happy with purchase and performance so far. Looks to be a very versatile device with multiple uses.

I honestly have no idea how some of the glowing reviews of this device earned their praise... All I was trying to do is add a Bluetooth input to an old stereo system we've been using. It had a spare "line-level" input that I've used in the past with one of the really old Apple iPhone docks (think 3GS era...). It worked great with that; really not any different from connecting a tape deck or CD player. I connected this Bluetooth device (the C39S) to that input, gave it power, made sure it was in "Receiving" mode, and then connected to it with my iPhone. It connected, but the volume level was just wrong. Normally we will listen to this with the volume level set a or 6, but to even hear anything with the C39S I had to bump it up to 18. And the sound quality was terrible! Thin, kind of scratchy, like trying to listen to a radio station that is so far away that you can barely receive it. All in all, not what I was looking for, so back it goes. I would have tried contacting customer support to see if I could get some help with this, but there's nothing I could find, either on the packaging or ZeeBooth, that would tell me how to do that. Unless it's in the Chinese portion of the User Manual; but I don't read Chinese. And on ZeeBooth, if you dig deep enough, it looks like it's sold by 2 different sellers. With 2 completely different "Home" pages. Good thing ZeeBooth makes it easy to return...

Bought this unit almost 4 months ago. Worked great for my situation. I like how small and simple the unit is. The unit suddenly stopped working for some reason, and because the ZeeBooth return window had closed, I was bummed and left a 1 star review. Surprisingly, the company must have read it, because they contacted me and kindly offered a refund, and also, just in case, gave me some suggestions for a couple things I could try on the unit, to possibly reset it. Turns out their suggestions were easy, and they worked! I really appreciated their efforts to reach out to me and help.

So... let's get the only remotely close to a'bad thing' is it does NOT have.. internal battery. it does NOT work without external (usb corded) power source.. IF you want/need to make it be fully 'wireless' and/or 'rechargeable', get a small external usb portable 'power bank' and thats the 'fix' thats not really a 'big' deal. pretty much any USB/cell charger (i.e charging wall block/usb port of a laptop/pc/tv/router/anything with a USB port.. etc) works. Most of us have a USB cable/wall block from most modern (made within the past 5ish years or so) android phone (i.e Samsung Galaxy/LG/etc..) somewhere LOL NOW... It is by far, one of the best, most versatile audio extender/adapter/accessory for many uses. I personally got it to use for adding sound to an Halloween event prop, by putting the prop sound effects on a micro SD, then sending (via bluetooth) the sound to a set of LED speakerbulbs inside the prop, as an example of creative use.. Worked FLAWLESSLY. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.. it IS very easy to use, setup, but you definately need to take a (literally) minute to learn how to set its mode/function and Bluetooth send/receive mode. From 'out of box' to 'fully functioning' took mabe.. three to five minutes, at most..and that was me testing every mode/feature/function/finding and connecting physical and bluetooth/power/audio. I Highly reccomend for any DJ, audiophile, custom sound/speaker maker, home theater designer, etc. SO many ways to pretty much get any sound to anywhere , on almost any speaker[that takes Bluetooth ,RCA,headphone jack] from almost any source, and its small, wallet friendly, and usefull.

I use this so I can pair bluetooth earbuds with my older TV. I think it's a great, simple design. The sound quality is good and I've had no issues pairing my earbuds. I've only used the Rx (receiving) function and the sensitivity of the device is very good--so good, in fact, that it often detects my neighbor's devices (among shared walls in an apartment). I hate to be picky, but my major gripe is that there is no "off" button. The device is in my bedroom, and I don't like devices emitting light when I'm trying to sleep in a dark environment. The LCD screen is great and very handy for identifying receiving/transmitting state and what device is connected, but it is bright if you're trying to sleep, so an off switch would be nice. If it weren't for that, I'd give it 5 stars, hands down. This is only a mild inconvenience, as I simply unplug it before I go to bed. Even so, I still highly endorse it if you're looking for a simple, cost-effective solution. I've only used the receiving function, but I love that it has a transmitting option, too, as that makes it very versatile and an even better value for the money.
