I like the feel of the buttons, they have a nice click. The air mouse is better than some other remotes I've used in this price range. I'm running Kodi under Wayland, so none of the X remapping works. I'm using evdevremapkeys to fix the OK button and remap the voice button as well. OK is KEY_SELECT and the voice button is KEY_VOICECOMMAND which I remap to KEY_ENTER and KEY_I.

So this review is a first impression review. Ill update as I use it more often. Also, please note that I am an ZeeBooth Vine Voice reviewer but this item is not a Vine item and I paid for it myself. So I got this remote because I acquired an ultra short throw projector with an absolutely junk remote. I was looking for a quality BT remote with mouse function. So, this fit the bill. Here are some things to note: It has IR, and BT with USB, but those arent necessary if your device has BT built in like my projector. I used BT without usb and it was easy as can be to connect to my projector with just BT. The mouse function is top of this world! I has used another remote where the cursor slowly moves as you push the arrow keys. How annoying! Not this gem. Here, you simply move your hand with the remote and the mouse cursor follows! Give that engineer a cookie! Where has this thing been my whole life? Im still working on what it does and doesnt do, but it seems to work well and is backlit! You can actually see the buttons in the dark. Overall, so far this thing is a huge win. Great price without a doubt. I havent tried voice and some other things, but for what I wanted this for, top notch! I hope this review was helpful!

Read the lower-star reviews. This is junk, do not buy. Air mouse is a joke, the cursor moves frantically on screen, impossible to use. Hitting any button takes about 1 - 1.5 seconds to reflect to the device: You wanna pause the movie at a certain time? Lower the volume immediately when the warehouse exploded in the middle of the night? Something else? Too bad, it will take at least a second or two until your command takes effect. Code mappings of buttons are chosen poorly. *Back* button sends a *BROWSER BACK* signal and *Home* button sends a *BROWSER HOME* signal, for example. That's why many reviewers stated that they do not work. They work only if you're using a browser-based os (some smart tvs, I guess?). On Mac or Windows, you can (as I did) leverage an external script to re-map the keys. Except, of course, the *largest* and probably most important key: OK. Yep, OK button does not send any specific signals to the receiver. It's used internally, I guess. For the remote control's own settings, reset etc. And many other issues that I've read in other reviews but didn't see myself simply because I didn't bear it to use that long. So, this is an absolute piece of useless junk; let me repeat, this is JUNK! You've been warned, do not spend even a dime on this.

I was looking for a better remote for the CCwGTV (Chromecast with Google TV) as I can't stand the tiny remote it comes with and happened upon the G20S PRO. It works perfectly over Bluetooth and all buttons including air mouse and Google Assistant work out of the box. The remote also came with a 2.4ghz dongle for use on other devices which may not include Bluetooth, I tested the dongle functionality on an Odroid N2+ running CoreELEC and an Android TV and it worked up to 30' away. The remote is backlit and has clicky buttons if you like that sort of thing, I prefer the buttons on the factory remote as they are quieter but I can certainly live with the clicks. NOTE: I tried it on my Hisense H8G which uses some sort of non-standard remote mappings and the Assistant button wouldn't work and the home button also wouldn't go home. The microphone still worked if you manually click any voice search button on the home screen or inside an app, the home button can be fixed with button mapper but not the Assistant button. My advice don't buy this for a Hisense Android TV. *Edit* After using the remote for the past week I'm returning it, I can deal with the shortcomings but the sharp corners dig into your hand and make it unbearable to use.

I bought an NVidia shield about a year ago. I immediately realized the remote was junk.It was all form over function, without buttons to pause, mute, or fast forward and rewind. This remote is great. It works perfectly with my Shield, and adds buttons to add all of the functions I need. I highly recommend this for the previous generation Shield. This is my second G20 remote. I lost my previous one, and had to use the original remote while I waited for a new one to come. I was thrilled to get my favorite remote back. I don't use the air remote at all. It may help with some devices, but I don't think it improves the Shield experience at all.
