These fake cameras are very convincing looking, even up close! Of course you would have to climb a ladder and install them by drilling some holes into your soffits or eaves of the siding of your house to really make them look professionally mounted and convincing. The red LED light that illuminates at night is a great addition to the fake-out character of these inexpensive devices of foolery, but I wonder how long they will last with the installed 2 AA size batteries? I know that LED lights don't tend to consume much power, so I'm assuming the lights will last for quite awhile- maybe several months, but I'm thinking that the power of the batteries will wan when winter temperatures make a comeback in the fall. The only reason I'm harping on that topic is because who wants to get up on a ladder to change the batteries in these dummy cameras? That's not my idea of an important home-ownership task, but its probably a good idea to keep that LED light working properly as an added deterrent to would-be thieves!

Highly recommend that these fake cameras be used with real ones for security. These just add the feature that you have many cameras on your property. I like the red light on the camera at night....just like my real ones.

They look like real cameras but no batteries are included which feels cheap to me. They also only swivel vertically and rotate. There is no ball joint or horizontal swivel so aiming is limited. Suppose a second hinge would have added too much cost-wise. Overall they should help act as a deterrent to porch pirates and backyard bandits though so worth the $10.

Cameras look real enough mounted on a house to at least cast doubt in someone's mind if they are real or not. Worked great for what I needed them for
